I like it. The window visors look great. I've never done any mods to any cars, but am going to do this -
I’ll never understand why Toyota put one chrome strip above the windows. Kinda silly
You could always get one of the cell phone mounts that suctions to the windshield that has a magnetic piece you put on the back of your phone. I've had one and it was really good! I place it on the left side of the window as close to where the window meets up with the pillar. Either in the middle or as close to the bottom of the window to prevent it from blocking my view. It really depends on preference though as to where youd want to mount it if you go that route
Yeah I thought about that too. I prefer to have it on the right side (im right handed). So I looked at maybe putting it to the left of the rear view mirror. It seemed like it would cut down on forward visibility quite a bit than it is now. I really hope this works. For one I already had the mount from my Model X but I also really like the location its in. Just hope it sticks.
The last windshield mount I had, the suction cup dripped down the glass from heat, it was a real bitch to clean off…. James, I’m very interested to see how your dash mount holds up

She loves her little model three to death so she’s doin good enough I guessI cannot wait to see you get 300 and in that RAV4 and then another 500 gas

But her channel is pretty cool I enjoy watching it as long as she doesn’t talk about politics.She has great EV knowledge and I believe even has a RAV4 ev an old one. 🤙
@@John-209 haha yeah I totally agree. Politics doesn't need to infiltrate absolutely everything. Its nice to have things people from all backgrounds can agree on and get along while discussing. I leave it out of my videos. I hope it stays out of the NFL this year. Hell, I hope we HAVE NFL this year....

@@frumpd63 oh ok. I always like my phone visible. A wireless pad would be nice but those are down low in the cubby. I have the option of driving for Uber/Lyft too if I wanted to so Id like it visible for that just in case.

The Prime has Android Auto and Carplay. Why do you need the cell phone holder?
First off the carplay sucks. Ive been very disappointed in it. It always has trouble connecting to my ipad and/or iphone. Second, I like to be able to see my phone. third, I used my model x for uber and lyft. Im not doing that with this car but I really like being able to look at my phone to see the map, directions, texts etc

Correct. It sucks. That’s why I only went with 50%. You can still see in but it really helps the look and feel inside the car. I’d like to be able to do 35% but it’s not worth the risk. Many people do 35% in ny though
