This movie is very interesting and very relevant - forumites would really enjoy it. Kudos to Taiwo Ibikunle, Dupe Jaiyesimi and Bose Akinola for a fantastic performance.
Am not too happy that some just rubbished the whole movie, if only we know what goes into a film production..d time, finance,weeks, months & if not years of producing a single film....saying things like "please in your next movie work on the pronunciations of words like not using foul or bad languages....Kudos madam Akinola, Nice movie, don't be discouraged by the negative comment but understand that as humans we are not equal. i hardly watch Yoruba movie but i love this one...i know what producing a movie can entails but please deliver part two sooner than we are all anticipating.

I love the story line, but trying to speak American accent is not really necessary. I like the other daughter, she's really natural. The other one can do that too instead of forcing herself to speak in American accent and making it sound annoying. Miami not Mami.

The forced accent is unnecessary. If one can speak Yoruba, the other can too. And if you must speak English by all means necessary, do so naturally.
And for the father, when you're talking to a fellow Nigerian about taking your kids home, Nigeria is Nigeria, not Africa. You only say Africa when you're talking to people who know next to nothing. There's hardly any educated American (black or white) who doesn't know Nigeria

I still don't understand why Muyiwa Ademola keeps saying that there are places far better than Disney World in Nigeria,can he please give me not just an example but one authentic,convincing example because he has always called himself Mr Authentic,truth is that the distinction between being patriotic and being realistic is light years apart,you can't be patriotic if you are not realistic. Thank God he just came back from the States in the movie and I can see that the movie was shot in Texas and his supposed Wife in the movie was in Miami Beach, he knows that the difference is authentically clear, I learnt that he has relocated his family to Canada or somewhere in one of these advanced Countries,why so, he should have allowed them live in Nigeria if Nigeria is that good. I pray for all the people that are still there that one day,just one day things will be okay,it can't continue like this.
