Hooray for Maggie!! We rescue senior cats, they have my heart❤
Congratulations on your new little addition Steff!! We also adopted a homeless kitten a little over a year ago and our older cat, Willie, (he was 3) was absolutely not having it with his new brother. 😂 So we also kept the new kitty separated and gradually gave them some time together every day. It took about a month or two before he stopped trying to fight the little guy but about 6 months before Willie fully accepted his new brother. He did come around with the gradual exposure 🥰 Willie still acts like he’s constantly annoyed by his brother but I keep catching him cuddling and grooming his little buddy when he thinks I’m not looking 😂
Have you tried blonde / taupe colours of eyebrow products now that you're lighter? It could look so cool with your new hair and I'd love to see a video on that. I struggle to find good blonder eyebrow products that don't look too heavy.

Using a pheromone diffuser like Therapet or Feliway would surely make the introductions between your cats easier.

My female cats never really “loved” each other they just became accustomed to each other. They were all rescued at different ages apart from each other. But females typically don’t attach to another female. Oddly since my one cat passed, the surviving kitty has been lonely. So even though they had their odds they did find a sort of companionship within each other.
I thought that would be the case. That’s really all I want is for them to just coexist peacefully.

Hair looks so pretty, took my old lady a while now she tolerates the two brothers. Take a blanket that has the smell of new baby in Sisters area and when you brush share the fur in areas and on Sister. Also calming diffuser and or spray.
Congratulations on your new family member. In addition to keeping the cats in separate spaces, give each of them a towel or small blanket to sleep on. Then exchange the blankets--without washing--so they can become accustomed to each other's scent. Switch the blankets a couple of times. Next, tuck Maggie into a safe space and put Sister in Maggie's room (shut the door) before allowing Maggie into Sister's space. After they've explored for a while, switch them back. If you can borrow a baby gate, or if you have a room with a screen door, you can allow them to visit from behind a barrier. Have a couple of favorite toys on hand to distract from hostilities. After they've become accustomed to the idea that neither one is going away, you can extend Maggie's forays into Sister's space. It may take ~a month with adult cats, but they will work out their relationship. (We save the spray bottles for acts like scratching on furniture or jumping onto the counter.)

In September I scooped up one of the cats I was feeding 🐈⬛. One of her eyes was missing due to some trauma. I took her to the vet & they fixed her up. Turns out she had already been caught, spayed & returned. The vet thought she was about 1 yr old & that seems about right. She's so sweet & she loves me petting her if I'm sitting on the floor, but she runs from me otherwise. I'm pretty sure she was abused. She's getting better, though.
I have 2-6 yr old brothers. I kept her in a spare bedroom fixed up like you have for the new girl. I kept them separate for about 2 months while she recovered from surgery & they could all get used to the idea of each other. Her name is Belle, btw. 😊
At some point I decided to introduce them. I started with George 🐈⬛, who is laid back & never hissed at her. They did okay, then I introduced Sam 🐈, the troublemaker. He hissed at her, of course, but then ignored her. Now, they all get along pretty well.
Can't wait for the day when Belle lets me cuddle her ❤

I've worn tape in extensions for years. Don't use purple shampoo while you have extensions. Your extensions will grab purple, but your real hair won't. You'll have purple hair. I did it and regretted it.

Thanks!! Maggie is staying in one of the bedrooms for now. She feels safe there and has everything she needs. I’ll carry her around the house but she always wants to go back to her room.

Please don’t use a spray bottle on the cats. Buy pheromone spray for felines, do the blanket thing that someone wrote in the comments. When you’re able to have them in the same space, place their water/food bowls away from each other and the same goes for the litter boxes. I’m sure your vet can tell you more! 💕
Profusion has new liquid multi chrome eyeshadow too. I picked it up the other day and they are very pretty & self setting. The TMNT pallet has beautiful shimmers but the vibrant matte shades NEED primer for color payoff. Your new kitty looks very similar to my muted calico that recently passed away.

Steph don’t spray them with the water gun that’s mean my vet said do not do that. You just have to gradually introduce them to each other and eventually they will get along.💛💚💛
Ok! I haven’t done any spraying yet. Maggie seems to just want to stay in her room so I’m allowing her to do that.

They will eventually get along, the water bottle will be the best it is what i use for redirecting my cats attention. Sister is simply protecting her territory once she realizes Maggie is not a threat she will be ok. You know cats are my heart.. also try to make her time with Maggie positive like with treats or churros. Calico cats are very fun got so much personality

We use a spray bottle on disagreeable cats. We try to get both of them so the perpetrator doesn’t feel ganged-up on, and I agree, the passage of time is the main factor. Once Sister learns Maggie is here as a roommate and not to take away her dominant position, hopefully she’ll calm down.
Maggie is scared to leave the bedroom bcs Sister is so dominate. I’ll carry her around the house but Sister just needs to calm it down!! lol 😂

We have two cats they are older had them awhile they don’t play together but about 2 am they go at it and then walk away. Harry is my husbands cat only will go to him lol, Star is female and she stays with me now my youngest dog Daisy Mae chases Star and gets mad when daddy pets Star and not her she is a jellyfish lol. They are so much fun………I just put a bird feeder attached to my dinning room window, Harry ignores it however Star watches the bird feeder all day so cute she has no clue what a bird is……your 2 may tolerate each other but not be too close, you can try and if too much fur flies I guess it won’t work lol I think they just need time love my fur babies.

never use a watergun on a cat! Let them slowly meet each other, first by just sniffing the other one (that she was in the room), then seeing each other trough a fence or window, then shortly meeting, later longer etc. Let them hiss or fight, because they have to clear the ranks, this is very normal. Of course it should not be forever, but a little bit is normal.

Your hair extensions are lovely, but you need a few more to extend the hair around your neck. The stylist should fix it for free, because they've clearly left out a large section. They do look gorgeous though!
