    My max soot is 60% and i read out 71% with my Delphi. My car Audi a3 cacy 1.6tdi has 240.000km. should i replace the dpf is indont have engine problems?

    Hi,
    A few questions 🙋
    Besides soot, does NOx also choke dpf filter?
    Does Nox not even clean by auto regen. In other words, is drive to clean only solution.
    My diesel car's dpf soot percentage and dpf load, both, are under 60 percent but still I'm getting DPF overloaded message. Why, plz explain.

      No nox is different topic. Wlnox doesn't choke dpf. Dpf percentage analysis is case by case depends on vehicle manufacturer. I say take it to a mechanic.

      At dpf soot 103% and dpf loaf 105% I didn't get any dpf warning. The regeneration commenced and dpf soot % dropped to around 67 %.
      After few days, a drive raised dpf reading to around dpf soot 86% and load 72%.I got DPC OVERLOADED warning.
      Can you please explain why I didn't get any warning when both soot and load percent was above 100 % but got an OVERLOADED warning when both percentages were much lower at 86% and 72 %.
      Please reply as the Ford mechs here in India don't have any answer.

      That all depends on the type of cars and ecu monitors need to be completed for some falt codes to come back. But bottomline is that if it keep getting choked then you need to find the cause of it otherwise it will continue to do so. Possible causes are cracked intercooler hose, leaking injector, bad maf or map sensor, hole in the air filter, leaking intake, lack of highway driving.

      Basically, I want to know whether it's okay that I manage to keep soot percentage at a reasonable level (let's say below 90 percent) but continue to drive with a DPF overloaded/At Limit warning? Or is it necessary to get rid of warning message?

      Not recommending driving as it is. Why don't just fix it.

    The best way to clean a dpf is a Wynn's multiserve

      I never had to clean dpf ever. Once you fix the real cause dpf will clean it's self out.

      May be when dpf gets to be 40 years old and technicians been putting wrong type of oil to rip customers off.
