This is the first video I came across on this channel and I must say the whole video felt like an intro. I dont know if you guys had an actual topic or its just random chitchats. Your guest could hardly finish her sentences. This style of podcast is quite difficult to follow
Dinma is very open and she's also a talkative but they just talk over her and loud and didn't allow her to talk. I didn't enjoy it jare

This podcast is excruciatingly boring.
This is not coming from a place of disdain rather it is coming from an aching desire to see the podcast thrive and succeed.
Firstly, the humour seems forced and therefore the laughter comes off as inauthentic.
Next, the show is desperately begging for a script - something that etches out a plan and pre-determines order or sequence.
It will be good to develop repeated interesting segments: a part that hooks the viewer and has them waiting in anticipation. The show can build up to such a segment.
Next, bring guests who you have taken a little time to research or with whom you have had a pre-show meeting. That way you can ask dynamic questions which elicit responses viewers will pay to hear.
Then tease the response to keep people watching.
Do not bring Dimma and ask her what did you do this weekend? It is boring and unimaginative.
Instead ask, what did your first boyfriend say to you when he initially approached you?
Inquire so you get something truly revealing but not embarrassing.
Then have vivid follow-up questions and please stop interrupting your guest.
You are trying to make the show feel conversational however this banter is so synthetic it is obvious real people do not sit and gab like this.

I stated clearly, in my first post, that my intention is to see the ISWIS podcast succeed and thrive but diehard, short-sighted, grovelling fanatics like you cannot tell the difference between constructive, productive criticisms and hateful statements.
You just run and start typing recklessly without properly digesting the insight within a comment.
Short of overtly saying so, you have cunningly proclaimed that you ‘understand’ how podcasts work.

Do you even realise that the term ‘podcast’ in describing ISWIS is actually a misnomer?

A podcast was not and is not a video show with people acting like they are about to French kiss a mic!
There are many other things to be said but this is not the place.
Kindly, do not tell people to ‘REST’ just because you disagree with them it is very rude and offensive. Then, do not stealthily make claims about things you are not knowledgeable of, cannot substantiate or find difficult to elaborate on.
It makes you look intellectually weak and portrays you as one incapable of thinking critically.

The subjectivity of my comment was never in question. When a work of ART is critiqued a slice of subjectivity is destined to be on the menu because artistic interpretations and preferences may differ from one individual to another.
What is paramount is intentionality. I was clear about mine in the opening of my comment when I wrote: “This is not coming from a place of disdain rather it is coming from an aching desire to see the podcast thrive and succeed.”
You have resolutely skipped over this and launched a tirade without acknowledging your own subjectivity or at least giving it any cognizance.
This is distasteful.
You were quick to let your indignity run loose without the constraints of reason and decorum.
What you are actually declaring here has little to do with my post; rather, what you are vexed about is my audacity to leave such a statement under a podcast you adore.
You feel slighted, maybe even angered that a show you find interesting has been labelled boring and you cannot imagine moving on without registering your irritation, even if the criticism you find irritating was generally constructive.
That is why you have no inhibitions calling my statement ‘complete nonsense’ and then demanding that I ‘shift.’
You saunter around with a cauldron full of such roadside insults resultantly; it is not difficult for you to dish them out.
What is difficult is coming up with practicable constructive ways of improving the show, just as I have enumerated, including ways to forestall the constant interruption of their guests which you seem to have recognized.
In furtherance, it is unmannerly to tell someone online to ‘ABEG SHIFT’ just because you disagree with something they wrote. It is tacky, uncouth and ungracious.
It shows poor communication skills and an inability to make valid points without resorting to the mechanisms of a schoolyard bully.
