Starfield is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
In the year 2330, humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people. You will join Constellation - the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy - and navigate the vast expanse of space in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.
Tell Your story
In Starfield the most important story is the one you tell with your character. Start your journey by customizing your appearance and deciding your Background and Traits. Will you be an experienced explorer, a charming diplomat, a stealthy cyber runner, or something else entirely? The choice is yours. Decide who you will be and what you will become.
Explore Outer Space
Venture through the stars and explore more than 1000 planets. Navigate bustling cities, explore dangerous bases, and traverse wild landscapes. Meet and recruit a memorable cast of characters, join in the adventures of various factions, and embark on quests across the Settled Systems. A new story or experience is always waiting to be discovered.
Captain the Ship Of Your Dreams
Pilot and command the ship of your dreams. Personalize the look of your ship, modify critical systems including weapons and shields, and assign crew members to provide unique bonuses. In deep space you will engage in high-stakes dogfights, encounter random missions, dock at star stations, and even board and commandeer enemy ships to add to your collection.
Discover, Collect, Build
Explore planets and discover the fauna, flora, and resources needed to craft everything from medicine and food to equipment and weapons. Build outposts and hire a crew to passively extract materials and establish cargo links to transfer resources between them. Invest these raw materials into research projects to unlock unique crafting recipes.
Lock and Load
Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. Zero G environments add a chaotic spectacle to combat, while boost packs give players freedom to maneuver like never before. - Hry
Man, I failed this at various points probably nine times before caving and looking for a walkthrough. I really appreciate you posting this; I was getting close to just leaving it undone and moving on to something else, but you got me through it.
Thank you for sharing all the information in this video! This mission made me tear my hair out.
Thanks for this great walkthrough. By the time I happened upon it, I already had the Void Form III power, so it made it a bit easier as well. Great content! Thanks again.
Your noise level when crouched is affected by your equipped items, so if you unequip your suit and pack (or helmet and pack if your suit has chameleon) you'll be quieter.
Thank you so much! I was following some other guy's video who was making it harder than it had to be.
Glad to help, hopefully you'll choose me again in the future 😆
This mission was one tough cookie, even with maxed stealth, chameleon helmet, and operative suit. Between you and another creator I made it through and completed it. Thanks!
Thank you so much bro, you got me through it after many attempts
Use quick save (F5 / F8) instead of going to menus and reloading. But finally someone showing ACTUAL stealth approach, not "run through all guards" stealth
Xbox controllers don't have F keys 😆. I didn't realise people were skipping through, I assumed that would affect the end, glad you seem to like the vid
The 'Sense Star Stuff' power is so useful on this one!
One thing I learned bashing my head into a brick wall trying to do this mission is that sense start stuff is a lifesaver for knowing where all the human guards are and can easily help you get past certain areas
Thank you 🙏
In the room you use the ID card for with the turret and the guard there is a door you can use the cutter to open that gets you inside that room juuuuuust in case you forget to grab the ID card to get past the security door.
I also just sprinted to the ramp just below the guard and hid under the ramp because the security turret sees you but doesn't immediately set off any detections. Wait for the guard to stop looking for you then you can sneak up and use them to shut off the turret. The moment you try and manipulate them tho, the turret starts shooting and they can glitch into the floor. Incredibly buggy mission.
I should also note that you can go to the opposite side where you hit the social on the guard and walk all the way around and the distance to sprint out of the view of the turret is incredibly small making getting past it very easy. Then just climb the crates back up, and you can get behind the guard using the opposite side walkway and get out without being shot at.
And no freaking kidding, did this entire mission take a while. I managed to not be in the gas where I'd start coughing a lot. There are ways to avoid the gas on the upper walkways it just takes longer, and the cough was the reason the guard came down and nearly spotted you at the end. The amount of trial and error with this mission is abysmal. But I'm glad I did it.
You legit saved my a** dude! Thank you!!
Well stealthed! Really good video. FWIW, I saw someone who never went to the roof. Instead, he followed the receptionist, manipulated the lady sitting at her desk and went from there. At one point he got an R&D suit and blended in with the other workers. He still snuck a bit but another way to try it.
I walked up to the card readed at the door with the turret and activated it when the turret was facing away from the door. I then went back under the turret as the door opened and waited for for it to turn away from the door. I was then able to go into the room and close the door before it came back. When leaving I looked to make sure that the turret wasn't facing the door before sneaking out.
Cheers Joe bro, nice work pal
Thanks so much!
Also yes there is a way to see the guards, or anyone, through walls and floors.
One of the powers let's you do it, it's very useful.
thaaaaaaaaank you!
If you're looking to turn off the turrets, take the pipes on the right side instead of jumping over to the pipes on the left. Warning, the turret and guard in the room seem to be extremely sensitive even when I had on three pieces of Chameleon gear and the Operative suit while walking...
USE THE MOVEMENT NOISE REDUCTION CHEMS.
It makes it way easier, recognisin I think its called and frostwolf.
That plus take all your equipment off that you don't need.
I like that mission if you cense star stuff power it shows you where all the security is located
At that end part I jumped across and followed the wall to end of hall and jumped down to get on elevator. I manipulated him when I came out vent like you did as well to get down hall. Worked out. No alarm.
This was super hard. More so, because i had a stroke and i can only use my left hand. thanks for the help!
Glad it helped! Well done persevering buddy I can't imagine trying to do this one handed
Take a disruptor to knock out the guards if you are spotted and can hide quickly, If you don't sign in downstairs you cannot actually do the subsequent download on Fays computer.
You can use your Starborn "Sense Star stuff" skill to see through walls, and it makes stealthy movements 1000% easier.
I didn't get a notice that I had finished the mission without casualities or alarms. There was a point during the mission where one of the guards went a little weird on me after I Manipulated them, they started throwing grenades and I think that they may have killed one of their fellow guards.
I never figured out what the social did. Ng+ and this video is the first I've seen it used at all.
Ha! Glad to have demonstrated for you
This mission gets far easier if you show up with both the "Void Form" & "Sense Star Stuff" powers. The first is a short duration cloak, and the other allows you to see where the guards are through walls. Both are obviously handy in this nightmare mission.
This saved my dahm sanity 😭
Use the sense star stuff power to spot guards through walls
This is easily the WORST mission Bethesda has ever put in one of their games!!! Thank you for your help! 👍
Diplomacy on the gard you can't sneak past
U can see where guards are with starborn power sense star stuff, it let's u see life force thru walls n its silent to cast as well
Too specific to use for guides in this game. Story stuff is usually the last thing most people do in a Bethesda game
@@JoeHammerGaming I don't understand why people don't go and get at least some of the powers by this point in the game. They come in so handy! I'd advise everyone to go and get at the very least a few powers before doing this mission. Sense Star Stuff and Void Form are extremely useful for this and the previous mission.
Just because you don't play that way doesn't mean everyone else does. Those that avoid spoiler and don't google ahead and play the same way as other Bethesda games will do story stuff last.
@@JoeHammerGaming I'm just stating my opinion and giving some advice to those who want it. Case in point, those who don't google ahead or do avoid spoilers probably aren't your actual target audience. They would not be looking up any videos on how to complete a mission.
@norezplaysgames fair point bro, was just leaving tip, as u said in video anyone who has found easier ways to do things pls comment, so I did. Just feeling like I've offended by doing so
I can manipulate but I don’t know how to point it to go somwhere
This took a few tries for me in the "testing" portion in the lab. You manipulate them then point at whatever it is you want them to do and hit the use button (E on PC). Good luck!
I normally don't comment on walkthrough videos often, but I needed to thank you. This mission was the straight up definition of annoying.
I'm glad to have helped, and thanks I need all the comments I can get!
Additional tips:
1. If you've got a guard facing you and they won't turn away, if you have a suppressed weapon, you can fire at a wall or object behind them. They will go into "Caution" but will go investigate the sound and allow you to sneak away without killing them.
2. When returning to the surface, instead of running past the guard on the right side pipes as suggested in the video, jump over to the left side pipes. The platform goes all the way to the rear where the elevator is. Jump across when you're far enough away from the turret of the room you're exiting and still pretty far from the guard by the elevator. You may go into "Caution", but you will then be back to "Hidden" within a few seconds and can sneak down to the end of the hallway, drop down and enter the elevator without alerting the guard (he will be facing away from you).
I was trying to do this quest, BUT F**KING BARRET IS STUCK ASSIGNED TO ME SO I CANT DO IT FULL STEALTH
Sounds like you either do the none stealth option or you just do his loyalty quest real fast, and you can get rid of him.
You coughed due to lung damage hence the guard was alerted at around 23 minutes. Take your meds, young man.
Oh Thank you BTW.
