This is what I appreciate about your channel. And I definitely heard Denise Williams “Let’s Hear It For The Boys”. Excellent tutorial.
You feed us too well, ill Factor! This was a joy to watch, thank you! You're an amazing student of music history, and an even better teacher!
Hi, I'm totally inspired. Just watching two videos of yours, each concerning the sound and vibe of the 70s and 80s respectively, I have learned so much. A huge thanks to you for these deep insights and advice, all of which are tremendously valuable and helpful to me. You rock ill Factor!!!
YEEES!
Thanks man!
Give us the 80s!

Honestly, This content makes me so inspired to produce and work!
Thank you so much ill factor!
That’s amazing to hear, keep it up!
Wow! I heard so many different songs from the drum kits. First, I said hold on… Planet Rock?!? That’s the inspiration to a whole dance genre, Freestyle aka Latin Hip-Hop. Then you went into the next kit and I heard distinctly Prince’s drums as well as handful of other songs.
Bravo!
Yea, Prince used a lot of LinDrum stuff.
Thank you very much for these insights, very very useful 😊
Perfect❤
i love music 80s❤
Great video! Thank you for sharing! Very useful to me!
This is perfect

Excellent tutorial I’m going to try and apply the drum and vocal processing to my current project 😊
Insane this channel has only 200k subs. Amazing tutorial, as all of them from Ill Factor! Thanks a lot!
Its is my pleasure.. and spread the word ;)
I can't believe I'm watching this
I've been dreaming about having someone to teach me how to do this for years ❤️
I’m so glad you’re making this a series!! Are you planning on only going up in decades, or do you also plan to go back (I’d love to see the 50’s or 60’s)?
Stay tuned… 👀

@@grim882yes, Grim knows it. Be good to see a Spector breakdown/copy on Abelton. Not sure it's truly possible though...
Fantastic
Great vid! Love your content even more, now I got me Ableton! 👍🏼Some technics and trick(return tracks) went a little quick, so I'll watch again and try to understand it better!
This is sooo cool!! Every part was just spot on. I loved the vocals especially. I’m gonna try and steal some of these techniques for my live performances!
Go for it!
Thanks😊
Dude is a legend

Дякую тобі, за фантастичний приклад створення музики в цьому стилі. Було дуже корисно і цікаво подивитись і послухати. Пісня звучить дуже круто!
The secret to 80's "stadium reverb" is the RMX16 nonlinear preset coupled with the talkback mic compressor of the SSL console (i think SSL makes an emulation of this talkback mic compressor)
GenX 80ss forever
Could you do a deeper breakdown on the synths used in late 70's/80's Funk and Pop stuff like Zap & Roger, Michael Jackson, Wham, Peter Gabriel, Evelyn Champagne King etc.?
Wow. I fell in love with that song. Totally 80s vibe
*casually shows masterpiece*
so yeah anyway
can you please make a remake of Kyle Minouge Padam Padam,I think we can learn a lot of production tricks from that track?

hi, I'm just a drummer starting with synth...how can I download the Oberheim bright sound to use with a midi controller?
Does putting a tape emulation on all separate tracks make a difference compared to putting the tape emulation on the master out?
Indeed it does, cuz you'll be summing several instances of tape as opposed to having only one of them process the signal. Give it a shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised 🙂
They had real tape machines, listen for a 1984 low end
I like really your bass Sound dear looks really fresh, and please ask me not to come into your academy I like good music and that's is one awesome you sax into that Track tunes really fresh out congratulations to your Mix !
