- I know I don't do everything right in this video. But I'm glad I got all the birds back. They have been flying much better and trapping much faster since I filmed this. However, one of my birds injured her leg on a poor landing. Any advice is welcome.
Good videos. Interested in how the injured bird got along after the leg injury.
It healed
Great job man I'm proud of you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Birds flying well, I have no advice on the injured bird, I hope someone can give you the proper advice. Good luck and Thanx for sharing.
Please, put her in a box for a week with food and water. Don't remove the band for now. If it's not healing take it to a veterinarian. Good luck
These pigeons are tough. I had one on my team last year after a toss it mustve hit a wire broke its leg on the band side like yours. I thought of cutting it off as well but i gave it some time. I didnt isolate the bird he stayed with the others he limped around for couple days maybe a week most? He healed up and I was able to rotate the band again freely. It was swollen like yours was as well. That bird ended being 1/3 returning back from our final 300 mile race out of what I had left on my team of 12 birds? I can't recall exactly.
Give it a couple days just rotate the band around a couple times a day,
That’s what I settled on and it’s looking better now. She is putting a little weight on it and the swelling has come down. Didn’t want to risk making it worse trying to cut off the band. I’ll keep watching it closely
Keep going end wee n need audatas

Don't isolate the bird, their all a family put the foot in warm water feed pink powder to that pigeon only
That looks bad ..get the band off put her in a holding cage and make sure she has lots of nutritional food and lots of water
Don't leave her in the loft she might try to move around and hurt herself more
🔝🔝🔝🕊🕊🇧🇷😎
Cut the band
Isolate her and rest for a few days .with food and water . Rest her. So sad .if you do no a good vet then take her .shame wish your birds well
