    I love condensing time. On your emergency bill fund you counted the 1's as 5's. You were so fast but I think I counted 10 $1 dollar bills. ❤

    I absolutely loved this video, it's such good motivation for me that has had to start from scratch more than once. I am just starting and barely able to stuff some envelopes, but girl seeing the progress you make gives me hope. Thank you so much 🤗

    Hi Kristin👋🏽 I love watching condensing videos just as much as condensing my own binders. Each time I’m always surprised how much I’ve saved to deposit in the bank. Wow! You did so good! That is a great amount you saved!’

  • @plantobebooked-Alicia_Allen

    Hello! You did something different this time with the place holders and it has blown my mind, LOL. You never did it this way before. In the past you would just get place holders from your drawer (or wherever) and put in for the cash. And then take ALL the cash to the bank. Today you used real money to pay for place holders? It didn't make sense? I think you shortchanged your totals. That cash you put aside should have been towards your final total. I got very confused today and usually I get everything you do!

    The real money you pulled to make the placeholders did you add that in? You also had a $50 place holder in the count but obviously you can’t deposit that do you change it with a real $50??

    Hey! Just curious on your system, when you deposit your condensed cash to the bank...do you put it into one account or have different accounts (each binder for example)?
    I struggle with money management, ill be starting cash stuffing soon but im also a total organisation "freak"

    • @IntentionalLivingYT
      @IntentionalLivingYT  Před 11 měsíci

      I put it all into 1 account! But I use “buckets” in that account to keep track of it

  • @sharonk8424
    @sharonk8424 Před rokem +1

    I don't understand how it works when you spend money. If you have a $100 placeholder and spend $40, how do you note there's only $60 left in that fund. I'm just curious because I really enjoy watching this and would like to do it too.

    • @chickenfingersss9155
      @chickenfingersss9155 Před rokem +1

      Everyone is different but she usually will do a video where she will pull from her envelopes when she spends on her cc.
      When I spend in an envelope where I have placeholders, I will then just subtract what I spent and then replace the placeholder with the remaining. I hope that makes sense ☺️

    • @AfterBudgeting2307
      @AfterBudgeting2307 Před rokem +2

      She will normally pull out the placeholder and replace with real money for what is left from the placeholder. So if she has $100 and only spent $60 she will then replace $40 back in with real cash and take the placeholder out and pull from the account I think 🤔

    • @sharonk8424
      @sharonk8424 Před rokem +2

      Thank you. I'll have to pay better attention during the stuffing videos. I think you have to be very organized, which she definitely is.

    • @IntentionalLivingYT
      @IntentionalLivingYT  Před rokem +1

      Yes, I would pull the full $100 placeholder out because I would pull the full $100 out of savings!

    • @AEvans36963
      @AEvans36963 Před rokem +1

      I believe she uses her money to buy the materials she uses to make her placeholders. She sells them in her shop. I'm not trying to sound condescending, but just saying.

  • @abbyacland9475
    @abbyacland9475 Před rokem +2

    I dont understand why you keep taking money out of the tray to get propholders,, the money should stay because it isn’t actually messing with the amount, all of the real cash IS going to the bank, not any of the propholders so propholders don’t count when taken out and exchanged

    • @abbyacland9475
      @abbyacland9475 Před rokem +1

      This means you need to add 750$ (i think) of money that went to the bank,, and take away the propholders from the ‘money’ that went to the bank since thats technically money that is already there

    • @abbyacland9475
      @abbyacland9475 Před rokem

      You’ve made a lot of mistakes like not adding the right amount of cash, not taking away what you need to be able to pay of your CC, and adding things up wrong… Im concerned this is going to cause craziness later when the amount of money you think you should have is wrong and you can’t fix it

    • @chickenfingersss9155
      @chickenfingersss9155 Před rokem +5

      I’m pretty sure she keeps the same amount of placeholders to keep track of how much she exchanged or took out… she usually does a separate video to pull what she needs to pay her cc. This video is just to condense the envelopes and get the money out of the house and in the bank.

    • @ruthiecarlson1917
      @ruthiecarlson1917 Před rokem +5

      I agree. She has never done this with the placeholders before and it doesn’t make sense. The placeholders were already in the bank, they don’t need to be counted again. I was very confused.

    • @ACCOMPLISHEDSHEIS
      @ACCOMPLISHEDSHEIS Před rokem

      Folks are different with this. I don’t use placeholders. I use my spreadsheet to let me know how much was sent to the bank. Personally, I think prop money is useless because I tried it. It takes up space in envelopes.
