There are apps for that. Not one of the rhythm or ear training apps is an ad supported "tuner": Carltune
Per Carltune I have a great deal of work to do to achieve absolutely awful status.
My older brother had #3 the Silvertone and amp. I was 14 in 1969 and I thought it was the coolest guitar.
The amp-in-case that came with the single-pickup Silvertone guitar was very different from the amp that was built into the case of the dual-pickup guitar. The dual pickup guitar had a Champ like amp that put out about 5 Watts, and an 8" speaker, but the single pickup version came with a cheap low power amplifier that didn't even have a power transformer (a "widowmaker" design) and put out less than 2 W with higher distortion (and a 6" speaker). The cheaper amplifier system was quite prone to giving you electrical shocks and should never be played outside or on a concrete-floor basement or garage while you are barefoot, or wearing merely socks or slippers. By the way, I have seen guitarist and multi instrumentalist David Lindley play the dual-pickup Danelectro live on stage with a full band (ElRayo-X). Look on CZcams for him playing "Quarter of a Man" at a Reggae on the River concert to see and hear the Silvertine in action. Also look up pictures of some of his instrument collection on his website. He owns many many Teiscos and other oddball instruments, both acoustic and electric.
I think you and I have different definitions of not breaking the bank, all these guitars are at least a grand except the bobkat. Cool selection though would love to own an SG5, dream guitar is a vintage Teisco Spectrum 5 though.
Yeah, I have barely any disposable income. Most of my guitars are under 150 euros. Cheaper if you just buy a neck and build the rest of the guitar yourself. I have a few that work.
I had a blue Spectrum 5 mint, miss it daily...

The Silvertone 1448 doesn't go for that much, maybe $400 - $500 for a good one (which may not include the amp in case.)

A Hagstrom, the red plastic one from 60's i bought 83 for 125 went for $1000 12 years later( i didnt sell it i gave to a friend).
Have played both the starway and bobcat and both are little guitars that sound huge
The Kay Vanguard models should also get some attention. A lot of the K100 and K102 models still go for around $300, and the K310, K311, and K312s (6 in line headstock, 1 pup under the pickguard, trapeze tailpiece) also can go for around that price.
The Vanguard "II" (Second Generation, pointy type that's usually but not always a red burst) had 10 versions as a guitar (that's not counting the Bass that came in 3 finishes, and 1 model # for each type) and so there's some more price variation for the "II" models. There are various 1, 2, and 3 pup versions. I've seen them priced from $160 for a junk one, to $550. I'd expect $200 - $500 should be a good range for them, they still don't seem to be worth much more than that.
Mind that these are light guitars, they're Poplar-bodied and Poplar-necked with (semeingly) a Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard. Because of the Poplar Body Wood, I've seen a fair number of the "II" models with neck pocket issues; it's a soft wood, and the neck pocket's very thin for a soft wood.
I found a vintage hagstrom bass in a little local music store and got it for 200 bucks several years ago, and I'm still talking about it hahaha

That Gibson is still manufactured as an Epiphone model. Also, glad to see a Dano on the list. Aren’t most Danos semi-hollow, due to the construction process? I have a U2, and it’s definitely hollow, as is my DC59...

Late 70s- early’80s Ibanez Artists under and slightly over a thousand are incredible steals.
I prefer the two lipstick pu Silvertone with amp tremolo.
Got the 2 pickup version of the yamaha sgv the sg2a and can confirm it is brilliant
first electric i bought was that silverone guitar and amp paid if i recall around $99.95 think i bought it ar sears and roebuck it was pointless to use it in a band especially with that amp friends of mine were using fenders and fender amps the silvertone got burried by them lol friend of mine bought it from, me and he still has it i bought the guitar with amp in 1963 or 1964
I'd be curious how these vintage guitars stack up to cheap new guitars. There are a ton of good new guitars options for much less than the cost of these. However even if new instruments sound and play better there is a certain cool factor you can't replicate with a new guitar.
It depends. Silvertone 1448s have a tone all of their own, but they can have tuning issues because the Neck is made of Poplar, and the headstock's a poor design for string angling at the nut. I have one assembled acoustically with a vintage neck and vintage body that are both non-original to each other, and the neck is surprisingly straight and fret buzz-free for one that doesn't have an adjustable truss rod.
Trying to wind the pickup on one of these beasts in the original way it was made, though, is painful. I just haven't managed to do it yet, they're a gigantic pain if you don't know how to do it. I've wasted a ridiculous amount of AWG 42 wire to try to get it right.

Things that don't break the bank are things under 200 euros.
Things under $200. are plentiful, that's why they're $200. ALL of them require you develop your inner luthier from CZcams videos and web page information, maybe books I haven't looked.
