  • In this video, we explore an abandoned copper mine in the Mojave Desert hidden behind a small sand dune field! Though a small mine, there are some indications that it may of been discovered during the great Lost Breyfogle Mine search.
If you would like to help me bring more explorations and improve these videos, please think about contributing over at / deserttrails

The "part of a building" is remnants of an aerial tow target. When intact, (these type) look like a three winged dart. When I was a kid, they were all over. Sorry to say, I rather don't think it blew there just recently.

The object at czcams.com/video/yaK8oAsPFGk/video.html is most likely a towed target that was pulled by an aircraft for others to practice shooting at.

Not sure why they built a cabin right on the dry stream edge, usually Dry, but when it rains,it becomes a torrential river that could very well wash everything away😮

Think of the original miners or prospector who trekked that area in it’s heyday . I am pretty sure they weren’t too concerned either . Mr Desert trails here has been doing this type of thing for some time now , at least that I’m aware of , and doesn’t do anything too foolish that I have seen . In some of his past videos he’s at least commented that he tells someone at least the general area he’s off exploring in and his estimation on when he will be checking back in with them . If you don’t like his exploits feel free to not watch them . That’s the beauty of America , you have a choice. He’s doing something he likes to do & I for one do likewise sometimes. We risk takers maybe get a bit more enjoyment from life than those who don’t do likewise. Just saying ….😏👍. I enjoyed this one as usual.
