They came from a reality TV show "Pinoy Band Superstars". They auditioned individually and they were being judged and voted individually.

I think its more on the marketing side of kpop idols. They are "packaged" to sound and look similar. You can see that kpop image has almost one "face". They have standard in physical aspect and it has to be that "face".
@Jec Smith Uhm. Not a kpop fan before but I gotta disagree. There's this kpop group that my cousin introduced to me a year ago. I became a fan. And yes, at first they look a like it's hard for me. but after you know them you'll know who's who. And now it's not hard for me to know the other group's faces.. And 99% can't sing? Sorry but you really know nothing about kpop. So just stop saying such things.

I've been watching MGN since 2015 and I'm also a fan of them. You know what? You're generalizing the kpop industry like ALL OF THEM CAN'T SING with or without those sound engineers. Maybe some of them do but NOT ALL. Just like what you said Selena Gomez? So are all singers do the same? And also some of Filipino artists use autotune and has an album and concert while the other talented artists/singers are struggling to have one. You're not a critic but a basher or hater of Kpop.
M-Angel is right. Filipinos ethnically are mixed (Malay, Spanish, Chinese etc.) while Koreans are homogenous.

Boyband PH is another singing group that came to be through an audition. there were set of judges. they were made to sing individually and the audience took part in voting whether the auditionee can go through or out of the search

TNT boys are having a concert on November30, a solo concert. It will be history because i believe they are the youngest who will held a concert at one of the biggest coliseum that many Filipino artist are dreaming to perform. Hope you can watch them. Thank you for loving the boys.

BoyBandPh came from a local boyband search called Pinoy BoyBand Superstar which is a Philippine version of La Banda. They went thru difficult stages in that contest, that’s why they have to be good. In my opinion.

Awesome reaction as always. I share the same opinion with Ovela.. i really cant tell kpop idols apart in terms of looks. Kpop has really evolved over the years. Probably the reason why i am more into 1st generation k-idols.
