    The composer is Russian Maestro Igor Krutoy who joined Dimash to compose songs for Dimash's voice. This song was the first and Passione the second and Sunday was the third song just for Dimash titled Your Love. Igor also reworked one of his songs titled Know for Dimash and after that a Music Video for Know was filmed in Iceland. You can find all four on his channel Dimash Kudaibergen. AND EVEN DIMASH'S E6 IS NOT WHISTLE.

    Dimash can cover six octaves with ease! He's a Kazahk, sings in Kazahk, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin, I think) English and French! He's been studying the art of singing since the age of five and is now twenty-six! He's a fantastic singer. Can rarely understand what he's singing but absolutely love him!

So happy to see you react to this song. Written as the opening song for the European Olympics (I believe) by Igor Krutoy (sort of the David Foster of Russian) especially for Dimash and his crazy range. This is certainly one of my favorite performances. Love Love Love your reaction.

    "Absolutely amazing." Yes, it surely is. "Ogni pietra" (a.k.a. "Olympico" is composed by the Russian Maestro Igor Yakovlevich Krutoi. The Italian lyrics are by the Russian poetess Lilia Vinogradova. Igor Yakovlevich was invited to write the anthem for the 2nd European Olympics, held in Minsk, Belarus, in late June 2019. And Maestro Yakovlevich did what he was asked for. Yet he wrote something so difficult to sing that only Dimash Qudaibergen can sing it. Unfortunately the Minsk performance is so disturbed by detracting noises that it is not played in public. But Dimash has performed it many times since. The current performance was recorded by fancam at Arnau, Qazaqstan on 29 June 2019 (not quite sure about the date). I have an English (and Finnish) translation of the lyrics, just let me know and I'll share them.

    • @seppokanerva7399
      @seppokanerva7399 Před 4 lety +8

      Of course I don't take any personal offense. The issue is a bit complex to explain. You maybe haven't paid attention to Dimash's latest logo (since the London concert in November 2018). It is DQ, not anymore DK. The notation of his native language, the Qazaq, used to be Cyrillic (like in Russia and Mongolia), which was. in the West, transliterated into the Latin (Roman) alphabet, hence "Kudaibergen." But the Qzazqstan government ruled that they abandon the Cyrillic alphabet and go over to the Latin one on 1 January 2018. Since then, Dimash has used the logo DQ.

    This performance gives me goosebumps every time. I love it. In terms of how he changes from Baritone/Tenor voice style to Soprano/Angel style, I have my own theory. I do stress that it is just a theory, guys. I think he can change so quickly from deep to high through the change in air flow. He sings from his diaphragm/gut so there needs to be more air, but it flows more slowly. When he switches to head voice, he doesn't need as much airflow. You see him take more breath when he does this, but it happens so fast, you barely notice it. I also love the way his posture changes too and he gives a more feminine performance in the high register. The way he inhabits the song and acts out each part is just another reason why he is just so amazing.

And now Dimash is impersonating the child: are you sure? are you serious i can do that? and then the second session with the confirmation. yes! go forward! give everything!
    And i wouldnt say its whistle. Its still a full sould with overtone while i would consider whistle as a frequency without depth. You can hear that with Dimash few times when he did a d8 for example.

    Wonderful! You made me relive the emotion of the first time I heard it, and you also helped me understand the complexity of its execution. As I understand Dimash studied in the classical school and obtained the title of "tenor master", then at the university level he studied contemporary singing. I have also read that he has an absolute ear, and that he dedicates 5 to 6 hours a day to his vocal technique. Thank you and continue analyzing because although we are not singers it is enriching to know about it.
    In this more operatic style you could analyze Ullyses with Aida Garafullina and Ti amo cosi with Aida and Lara Fabian.

    Dimash Kudaibergen became the guest of honor at the opening of the II European Games in Minsk in June 2019.
    He performed his new song Ogni Pietra (Olympico) in Italian. During the performance at the Dynamo stadium, the flag of the European Olympic Committees appeared, which was carried by 6 people.
    The author of the music is Igor Krutoy, the text is Lilia Vinogradova.
    Dimash sings on the highest real sopranos, and not just falsetto, like most men. In a recent interview, he described how his teachers taught soprano singing from childhood. Dimash has a classical, opera school of vocals, he was taught to sing just like that.
    He once said there was a shortage of girls singing soprano in his school choir so they put him in to sing with them. He said it was ok as he got to meet lots of pretty girls.
    Nature endowed him with unique ligaments, so he retained the ability to sing in a high key and after age-related changes in his voice. The gift of God and great work from childhood is Dimash.
    His father is a singer and composer, his mother is a soprano singer.)
    Of course, their son grew up among music from birth and from early childhood learned to play musical instruments and sing.
    Dimash said in an interview: “I sang like a mother.”))).

    Thank you for such of professional analytic details that only an expert like you can do. You are so kind to show many how that is done so we can improve on our own voice which take years to master. As a music teacher/coach, you probably heard lots of "failed" versions of many songs which some of my friends who really took me and see what his job is truly like which will totally drives me insane or even laughter while seeking solutions to help your client to polish no matter how bad it may be. Just imagine that you are a music teacher with stuck with nothing but broken instruments...

    I loved this video!! Regarding dimash’s voice type, he’s naturally a baritone. Yes, he is a baritone. He’s just very well-trained. He’s been training since he was very little. His voice teacher confirmed that he’s a baritone. He also said that his vocal chords are very long (this is an important sign). Apart from other characteristics of his voice, the weight of his voice, his attractor state, etc. He’s definitely a lyric baritone.

    His whistle voice you can hear in “Unforgettable Day” from Gakku concert and diva dance (you need to react) and in many other songs and it sounds other than that. Maybe you should react to “Time when Dimash had fun with voice” - there is a lot crazy things 😊

  • @JasminGardenia

    Dimash is not a "very light tenor". He's probably a dramatic tenor. But nowadays he usually sings baritone pieces when he sings classically (e.g. Ulisse or Ti Amo Così). What voice type someone belongs to depends on range, tessitura, weight and color of the chest voice. Dimash sings in mix almost all the time in his contemporary pieces. When you first said he was a "very high tenor" you had literally not hear a single chest voice note from him yet 😄(the breathy mix in the beginning of SOS)

    • @Advanceyourenglish5
      @Advanceyourenglish5 Před 4 lety +3

      JasminGardenia not actually. Voice type depends on mostly weight, timbre, and above all things, the attractor state. Dimash is not a dramatic tenor, not even close to one. Dramatic tenors are so rare that I really doubt we’ll ever encounter one in pop music, even in opera are hard to find. Dimash is a baritone. A very well-trained lyric baritone. His voice has most of the characteristics of a baritone. Besides, he said that his vocal chords are really long (this is really important so as to determine the voice type). And his vocal coach also confirmed that he is indeed a baritone. I think that people just get complicated with his voice type because of the wide range he’s got, but he’s the best example that range is the least important factor to determine someone’s voice classification.

      @@Advanceyourenglish5 I like that you explained your point , mad respect for that .
      Sorry to disappoint you however , Dimash has a degree in classical music and received classical training from the best in Eastern Europe and China since the age of 5 , and he said multiple times that he doesn't care about being classified but the Opera singers from the Astana Opera including his own mother classified him as a tenor , and the most famous voice teacher in China classified him as a tenor , and when he got his degree he was offered to join the Astana Opera as a tenor but he declined to choose his own path . By the way The Astana Opera is the third biggest Opera house theater in the world .

      Brian H Voice teacher part? I’m working my way towards a voice technician certification. I’m based on one of the best vocal methods in the world. I know what I’m talking about. Dimash’s primary sound and voice characteristics are not those of a tenor. He’s what I would classify as a well-trained lyric baritone.
