Why are you so good at this, dude?
Practice & Persistence?
It's cool the smell that the Wiral motors make when they meet salt water. It's like a robotic essential oil
If you need one let me know as I’ve got mine. Never used it.
Philip, I'd be happy to take it off your hands if Jesse doesn't want it. Been looking for one desperately. 😊
Still you have it?
I love my Wiral, I have had it since 2019 and I still use it all the time.
Jesse, I always love to watch your internet vids, no matter whats the topic :)
Thanks!
Still use mine and love it. Most recently with the A7SIII and the Tamron 35-150mm for a bandits-running-into-battle shot. Keep up the great work, Jesse.
Thanks! I’m sad that mine is fried but Christoph still had one here at the studio so I’ll be fine for the odd shot when needed.
@@JesseDriftwood being with like-minded creative filmmakers is handy. Glad you've still got access to one.
I hate that remote so much, it has caused so much anger over the years, DO NORMAL EASY TO UNDERSTAND THINGS lol. Great video Jesse, it’s definitely a few years late but Wiral Lite Gang strong 🤘 me and you are the only ones I’ve ever ever known to have these
Interesting! Thanks for sharing it. ✌️
I too would like a Wiral Pro. Seems like a really fun product
A fellow gts brother, love to see it.
Bought one for Supercrawl livestream concerts back during COVID but didn't use it much. I'd imagine it's sitting untouched in a closet somewhere now if you want to reach out they might part with it.
I have one, and get a lot of use out of it, but there are a couple issues I wish they would fix in a update
Why don’t you partner with small rig or someone and make your own creator branded one? Everyone seems to be doing stuff like that these days.
Good idea
1. This is gonna be a low volume product.
2. It requires some engineering, i.e. R&D
3. To get something of this size to be built well, imo, it will either have to be mass produced or built in low volume production runs. Which means either the vendor will have to buy a lot of parts and then keep inventory or they'll have to have smaller production runs with an ODM. The latter of which will cost much more.
I don't think you can build something like this for cheap on a whim, I'd like to be proven wrong tho
This is a niche product and unless there's some kind of a Kickstarter or presale, I don't even see the bigger brands picking this up
@@8lec_RThis is exactly right. I know some companies that I could partner with, but unfortunately the market is SLIM. Probably why Wiral never really took off and eventually just disappeared.
@@JesseDriftwood thx for the confirmation. I feel proud of my deduction skills. This was all just educated guesses 😆
Someone ought to be able to open source something similar. That’d be nice.
Living in the DC metro, I have to get commercial drone approval for absolutely any aerial shots… for something like an entire 20 mile radius. And some locations are an absolute non-started. These thing presents a decent alternative.
😊
3:30 😃 Is that a little mouse 🐁 on lower frame right?
Ahaha it'd be cool. I think it's just someone walking through a door on the lower floor😁
What lower floor? That behind him looks like a table
My battery died. So I bought a few racecar batteries.
But where do I get that hat?
Also discontinued but the Syrp Slingshot is a version of a Wiral Heavy but you may have to find it second hand.
Unfortunately the Syrp was only built for Timelapse, the Wiral was FAST.
@@JesseDriftwood that’s true but I’m scared of zooming a full size camera as much as I’ll send a GoPro at a tree at double flash speed
Seems like it would be a good match for Osmo Pocket 3?
For sure!
zv-e1 on a rs3 mini gimbal works fabulous on my wiral lite.
Yeah that’s a killer setup!
how does it handle the heavier weight, does it feel sketch?
@@DallascurriePro only minimally. About the same amount as any large professional cable cam system does. Surprisingly strong.
Jesse completely out of topic ... how do you guys keep that huge studio clean of dust ? ... i have a similar studio and i'm struggling with dust laying on top of every light and modifier
….we don’t lol
@@joshwhitee 🥲 ahh shit :( ... i'm thinking about painting the ceiling with a pump but it's 13 meters high and like 400 square meters
I watched this twice.....
I guess from both ends......well not really but it sounded good in my head. Meanwhile the video looked good and ....tHanks.
I may watch it a third time later......there is a lot to learn from your videos.
