Imagine if Glados really were as big as on this picture.
Abuyin ibn Djadir then we would all die by her oil leaking out and drowning us
Abuyin ibn Djadir HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Abuyin ibn Djadir Chell would already be dead with a smash of G's head :3
Abuyin ibn Djadir Either cry or shit myself
Abuyin ibn Djadir i just realized that
Portal 2 is the game I play every Christmas at 4pm.
I will now continue this tradition.
this should be a tradition in itself
Dude me fricken too!
this should be official
+agun17 *am
Glados: "Well, this is the part where he kills you"
Wheatley: "Hello! This is the part where I kill you!"
Title: "The Part Where He Kills You"
Music: "The Part Where He Kills You"
Achievement: "The Part Where He Kills You"
Achievement: the part where he kills you
Achievement description: yes, is that part
I thought Glados said: "well, this is the part where he kills us"
GLAdOS: Luckily for me I have a backup installed on Cave Johnson's computer. I'll live at least. that makes me rather GLAd I'm not you.
It would have been cool if the music was call " The Music Where He Kills You"
achievement get: this is that part
Fun fact Wheatley is so dense that the space core floats around him in space.
lmao
makes sense tho, the space core would of floated away from wheatly, but the sprites say otherwise
I think it's just a lil' fun thing they added
@@thepuppetqueen57 It is, but thats also how they fit it into the game.
I think, that space core have a some kind of little thrusters to move in SPA-A-A-A-ACE
I listen to this ost while doing homework. makes me feel like I'm fighting my teacher
Is it science homework? 😝
Machiavellian Bach?
Lol xD
"The Battle of Yorktown was an important event in the American Revolution. The initial strategy was to have the American forces travel to Yorktown by foot while the French piloted the Borealis and sacked the British supply route and then continue on to the Michigan salt mines. Finally, the British troops at Yorktown surrendered to Cave Johnson at the Aperture Science facility after failing to secure a critical core transfer between GLaDOS and one of their strategic cores portal gun space space space Chell blue, orange, Wheatley, Valve."

2:25:21 Oh great. Now he's playing classical music.
when you get 130 likes, but no replies, but then somebody makes this meme and now you got at least 1 reply
@Gigabit Gamer_Fox Well hello there!
@Gigabit Gamer_Fox Hehee, How are you?
@Gigabit Gamer_Fox I've been doing great!^^
@Gigabit Gamer_Fox Also I see that you've got a pfp which looks fnaf related and I'm guessing you're a fan, and if so well I should mention that I too am a fan^^
im planing on waiting like 2-5 years until i've forgotten all of how to beat all the levels
YES! SOMEONE UDERSTANDS!
same here!
Brandon Zender Yup!
I'm planning on waiting more than 5 years to actually even forget the storyline!
:O
Ahhhhhhh.......the days when valve actually made games.
I miss those days ...
I Know right
I wasn't around for that.
What, you mean ancient history?
Well you're in for a surprise
my sister played this addictively every single day as she strongly battled hard against her illness cancer. RIP georgina xxx
I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences
R.I.P..
May her rest in peace. God bleas her
Oh. That is a terrible loss. I wish you good memories that bring you joy.
Rest in piece.
0:44:00 gave me chills... Cara Mia foreshadow... God I love this game.
When you get close to the companion cube in this puzzle you can hear the Cara Mia part of this song
Oh good im not the only one who heard that.
also heard at 51:10
You guys are complaining about the pixel quality of a still picture while the soundtrack plays. Did you come here to see a picture or listen to music?
Well, the... picture..... is... pretty cool.....? I guess....
lol i didn't even notice until you mentioned it. i'm pretty sure nobody is complaining apart from 1 distant guy 50 pages down the comments.
Only complaint that I have is that the audio quality is at it's best at 420p on youtube.
Why not have both? We are seeking perfection in music and art
we came here to COMPLAIN dammit
1:46:35
this is the best song in the soundtrack. you can hear the story being told here. the dialogue isn't necessary.
Just what I needed
For you... ...science is not fun.
Radigan Conagher not gonna lie I was stucking between "Half Life 3 confirmed" and "Illuminati confirmed"
gosh darn memes.
Abigail Thompson the amount of memes are so damn high
Gordon Freeman cant speak
If Gordon Freeman meets Chuck Norris, he only says: Damn
oh my god i took a math test and the teacher let us listen to music during the test and I just put this on, i come back later and i realize it says _songs to test by_ lmao
I really liked how the ambience in some of the puzzles also helped contribute to the music, like with the lasers in some of the levels. It was really cool!

do you ever feel like Wheatley? by that i mean do you ever feel you you were made to make terrible decisions including waiting until 11:39 pm to start making a whole page of science test notes you are allowed to use on the unit test you have at school? then procrastinating and writing stupid comments instead of going over to finish the notes and go to bed so you can get up at 6:30 am?
That's basically my life, man. It sucks hard, I just love distracting myself...
huh wow seems oddly specific, also hi im from 3 years in the futrue

Bro💀💀
Dude you’re a lifesaver, Tysm!
bro got the whole soundytack at hand
I’m telling you, valve has single handedly the best sound design of any company in their games
1000% agreed, having played Halflife Alyx their sound design and visual design is at an even higher level than before, they continue to make some of the most incredible games I've ever played
PRAISE MIKE MORASKY

"Your Friendly Faith Plate" is jammin' 0:34:24
It may hurts my ears when on too high volume, but damn you're right!
It do be like that tho
idk man it just feels unfinished
the ATMOSPHERE in all of these songs gives me goosebumps.
I think I might have a minor case of serious brain damage..
It's been a long time
How have you been?
You know, because you MURDERED me
We both said a lot of things that you are going to regret but I think we can put our diferences behind us...for science...you monster.
i must say, since you went through all the trouble to wake me up
I just love Valve so much. Both series that correlate to each other in this fictional world are just incredible. So much originality it's just ridiculous.
I loved them too, but now...

LOL. I read "Five favorite songs"
Ghost of Rattman is my favorite one. :p
Still holding out vigilantly for portal 3. I don't care what happens, I will wait until the end of time for that game.
portal 3= half life 3, its a game of portal and gravity guns.
fighting between space and time
this is valve we're talking about. as far as I can tell they don't actually know what the number three is, they know it should be there, but they can't find it,
We are gonna call it.. half life 2 episode 2 part 2!
true, true.
Portal 3 and Half Life 3 will be the same game Gordon and Chell will meet up now that Chell has escaped aperture and together they will silently conquer any who stand before them
Just got Portal 2 the other day, started listening to the ost and I'm really excited to play it for the first time!
You finished yet?
@@Calthecool Nearly! I'm on Chapter 8, I kinda forgot about it for a couple of months, (got swept up in the ace attorney games lol) but I'm trying to get back into it. It's still really fun though

Listening to the OST and watching the scenes in my head while doing the most repetitive task at work so I can mentally escape and not be bored out of my mind.
36. You Are Not Part of the Control Group 2:00:34
great memories with flying through the air
Just when you think the Portal 2 soundtrack/ambience is much more upbeat & lighthearted compared to Portal 1, you're hit with PotatOS Lament (2:07:39) as a reminder of how dark and existential-crisis-inducing it can be.
Your Friendly Faith Plate.
Valve, turning utter garbage and static into beautiful music since forever.
I love Wheatley Science And The Part Where He Kills You It's very epic.
44:00 :O I never even noticed this, but this time I decided to listen closely to the companion cube's melody and... IT'S SINGING FREAKING CARA MIA :OOO *Mind blown*
How did I not notice this before

listening to science music while studying science vocab
SCIENCE
Madeline Ellis listening to it while i tackle some physics
Listening to science while cooking food, because food does involve chemistry, combining heat with food makes all that stuff happen that I would know if i would have chosen chemistry over physics... IL have to learn chemistry next year. Ho well...

woah deep man

I think it's pretty cool how the they used the same sound effect at the start of "The Courtesy Call" and "Caroline Deleted". As if it signifies the start and end of your journey.
For a person who writes HTML code all day, this is my align="centre".
you just made my day
im gonna act like i got that joke
LMAO XDDDDDDD LOL ROTOFLOL
hows that?
Absolutely never inline CSS, Joseph.
html "code"
HTML is code, anything XML-based is. It's just not a programming language.
I love the song "I saw a deer today", its so fast paced and catchy but chaotic and weird sounding! Really chaotic to match running from Glados's traps!
Ghost of Rattman is creepy as fuck.
yeah, I remember hearing it with all those scribles on the wall... was like WTF smth there and ran away like a baby, havent been so scared throughout whole Dead Space.
Lol, try listening to "No Cake For You"
Listening to it at 1am make it even creepier lol
This has been my go-to study music ever since I finished Portal 2 and it has yet to disappoint.
I think I am one of few who don't need nor want a Portal 3, as the ending we got was pretty sufficient and didn't really leave many cliffhangers.
Yeah, extending the story would have just made it worse. Half-Life, on the other hand...
Come on youre a bad influence for Valve
I don`t think that Chell needs anymore resolution then she got, but Atlas and Peabody did find a ton of human test subjects in stasis, sooooo there are a few cliffhangers :|
That's why they will make prequel...
I think we just want a third one just to confirm they can in fact count to 3. Oh and so we can have more music to jam out to
I love how in the courtesy call the music slowly becomes darker and more dramatic, and then when wheatley says everyone is dead the music becomes all like: oh. i ' m a l o n e
I can see these songs. I love this game lol keep getting songs and scenes stuck in my head
What a massive and EPIC soundtrack. Best sci-fi music work I've EVER seen. A fitting soundtrack to such an amazing game. Games like Portal 2 are the final proof that video-game is art.

youtube won't let me like your comment...
I completed Portal 2 so many times (more than 20) that I memorized every test and secret, Since more than 10 years, and on different devices
"Triple Laser Phase" is the weirdest song i've ever heard, it gives me an unique feeling of empty, insecurity and terror at the same time
***** And it relaxes me.

I really enjoyed playing this game also because of this amazing soundtrack.
Portal music has a way of making me think my dryer is buzzing.
Literally I got up 5 times to check on it.
10:32 --------> 11:37
aka the best part
I would replay the intro scene just to hear this. That cutscene was the coolest thing ever, especially after playing portal 1 with my dad so many times.
Indeed, gotta play Portal: Reloaded this weekend
>_< The Ghost of Rattman one gave me the chills. Damn Portal, why make such a creepy thing exist?
He DOES talk like a drunk maniac, so that part's worth it.
Fancy seeing YOU on the internet. Hows the facility?
This video has a criminally low amount of views for such a good soundtrack...
Weird how black mesa is the more ‘normal and serious’ one but worked on teleporting beyond our universe, while aperture is the ‘wacky and idealistic’ one but worked on portals that just turn around and end up back in the universe they started from
I think I'm the only person who hears this while sleeping
I love that the Song Don't Do it starts out as a remix of the glados theme and then slowly becomes wheatly's theme. (Dont do it is the song that plays when Glados does the core transfer btw.)
plays before you press the button
The Future Starts With You 0:23:32
So many chills
Playing this level at a young age, (I'm a rebel) it is very................ Disturbing! Still. To this day.
+The Red Panda wow, felt it *clap for you* *bravo* *I don't really care*
hands down best song.
I don't know why people say Portal 2 lost the original's soul. The creepiness in the first game is more emphasized, and some of the tracks really are masterpieces, but this OST turns Aperture into an almost cinematic tragedy. There's a tonal shift but it's just as well, if not better executed in my opinion.
I think people hate portal 2 because it's not as creepy
But the creepiness in the original was the realization that we are the only human remaining in the facility, with our only company being the robot voice that's trying to kill us. It's the unfamiliarity that gives portal it's creepiness.
But in portal 2, we are already familiar with GLaDOS. We know what it's like in aperture. So we get to see the workings behind the facility, and so portal 2 has this industrial feeling behind it. Most notably heard in it's music.
We also aren't alone, as Wheatley and GLaDOS become our companions at different points in the game. We aren't alone anymore.
Portal is one of the best games ever. My favourite scenes are that first one and when you enter that cave and see those old ball test chamber things, with that awesome track playing... Witch are your favourites?
Miguel Pereira Scenes? What exactly do you mean by that?

if I made this my ringtone I don't think I would ever answer it :3
Fred Loxton I think if you ever made it your ringtone then no one would try to call you and wait 3 and a half hours for you to pick up
Amish_Ape *wheeze*
It takes me one hour to go thru every section which makes one play thru like 4-5hrs and I know every chamber like the back of my hand so it really is easy now. Also, I just completed my 20th playthrough! Though I'll probably play through a few hundred times before I die. This game is a masterpiece and one of my favorites. The soundtrack is something I think I never heard before and never will again, it's so beautiful and gives off an ominous vibe. gg Valve, honestly I want Portal 3, but this game's replayability is something else.
I totally agree, I've lost count of how many times I've played the whole game.
This is the only company that can make industrial alarm sounds bangers
Love as a Construct (42:47) is for me one of the most haunting pieces of video game music I have ever heard.
The Ghost of Rattman is my scariest song in this soundtrack. The first time I heard it, I couldn't sleep for three days because of his voice...
(in a deep russian voice) it scarez meh.
We all can agree Portal music is the best.
god, this soundtrack is still so good 7 years later.
10 years later, still freaking amazing.
And having played Halflife Alyx, they still make amazing games too, even if it took a while!
@@UNSCPILOT for sure
Anyone else hear frantic ranting in Ghost of rattman??
It's his ghost
Yeah, That's A Little Easter Egg
Matehb HD Gaming He isn't dead.

I love how in Don’t do it and Your Precious Moon have so many parallels, where Don’t Do It has a slower start and a harder bass in the background, as if to elude to Chell’s uncertainty and eventual regret of putting Wheatley in charge, Your Precious Moon has much more of a definitive feeling, as if Chell finally knows that what she is doing will have some good consequence.
8 whole years and this is still one of the best video game soundtracks in history, these tracks still hit so hard, damn
...did i really just went through all of this?... wow i have alot of extra time.
I just play the same song over again
+GameMaster10K You're not the only one xD
*^~^/)*
2:55:28 Now that is how you end a series.
love listening to this OST after so many years, such amazing ambience
26:54 and 53:23 give me chills like you wouldn’t believe
this game is so good. so much work was poured into it I think I might cry. this is why I'm going to work at valve when I grow up especially because they're bringing back classics like half-life Alyx.
I am litteraly crying thinking at those old days right now
@@henterpriser5779 my words cant express how much i love these games theres just something to them
Hey, when you get there. Do a favor for me and help valve make a game again? I think the valve that created classics like portal 2 is a very different valve than we have now. Bring it back to it’s roots!
@@YouMayKnowMeAsNate heck yeah i will B)
This game is impressive. Although I'm not a fan of First Person View games, this game is an exception. I felt like I was there. The characters were great, as well as the music. Even though I haven't played the first game, I still enjoy playing it through.
i also don't like much first person games, but the company valve always make great games, and they are kinda king on this first person genre, you will probally like the half life VR and all other games from valve as well.
Hello Test Subjects, Cave Johnson here, we got allot of music for different moods here at Aperture. So we gonna have you testing and hearing throe them, don´t mind if we control your mind in the mean time, ah yea and did i mention there are free muffins on the left here - Cave Johnson out

@@quesamo IM GONNA HAVE MY SCIENTISTS INVENT A COMBUSTABLE LEMON THAT BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN!!!
So nobody is going to talk about how "The friendly Faith plate" sounds like a microwave in an endless hall echoing at 3 AM...?
I imagine the Jump plate cheerly walking, getting more and more as the song goes on. They all have cartoonish arms and legs. Even though it feels like my ears are popping, I like it. Already have Tinnitus, what can go wrong?
It may only be a few days away from 10 years since it's release, but I still love this game like it's new :)
Everything fits together so amazingly well
This was the hit of games.. so much nostalgia hitting through. I'm going through puemosnostalgiosicverciopneumosisia!
This is actually really good music to listen to when doing art. I got through bout 1 hour and 45 minutes without even noticing it.
Hey I did that exact thing yesterday when working on a reference pic. It helps to have a character who's a Mad Scientist too
It is your right
This just touches and wiggles my soul in a pretty weird way.
Listening to this in the middle of the night when I have a English exam tomorrow is gonna give me some word dreams for sure lol
Love this game so much!
2:46:05 is my favorite song in portal 2 (when you click the numbers just wait a few seconds for the song to start)
good to listen to while studying, makes me feel smart

I was feeding my bearded dragon while listening to this, and right when this came on a slimy cricket leg touched my hand and jump-scared me! 😂
A 3 hr video, of an entire soundtrack from a popular game, and not a single ad? You my good sir, are e legend.
he hasnt 1000 subs I don't think he can put ads on video
Ah, that'd explain it.
This has helped me pass so many tests since middle school
I am currently listening to this while trying to fall asleep. I have this thing for white noise so I'm at ghost of Rattman right now and its absolutely beautiful. :) Thank you so much for uploading! ♥♥♥
it always makes me want to play the game so much
Thank you for uploading this! :D
I like how dont do it keeps building and building until it stops and that glitch moment in i am not a moron is perfect.
Edit I also love how ominous i am not a moron gets with its dark tones and build up at the end.
OH MY HELL, "You will be perfect" is perfect :D

I love this game so much. Whenever I hear music from it I almost want to cry out of happiness. I don't know why, but I have such a deep connection with this game so I thank you very much for this upload.
It is a phonemonal game!
wow 3 and a half hours of soundtrack! Thanks a lot! Kinda crazy how there can be that much music for a single game
Dude, thank you SO MUCH for this!
The salt mine/Cave Johnson stuff is my favorite part of the game. It's so interesting. Just sad there isn't more more than it already gives us
Dang, I don’t remember “The Friendly Faith Plate” going SO hard!
there is a part in the game where GLaDOS is chasing and trying to kill you while wheatly helps you escape
later, wheatly chases and tries to kill you while GLaDOS helps you escape
valve perfectly symbolized how wheatly was corrupted to become the old evil version of GLaDOS
i love it
