When you realise Oleg was the stepladder Degoey used rd 2 2019 against Richmond, then traded to GC, then delisted, and becoming just another washed up AFL player that nobody remembers or cares about. To then, and only after another series of “sliding doors” moments, finally landed a spot on Collingwood’s list. Grabbing that opportunity to then going on to be a pivotal player in the 2023 in our 16th premiership is the true definition of never ever give up!
The effort on the wing against GWS in the 3rd Quarter, won Collingwood the flag! True one on one, contest only one man stood up!
