While watching the video I was wondering did anyone notice how people are dressed at the background? I mean people who actually live in this region . Nothing to do with the outfits shown by the model. She is really beautiful and the clothes look very good on her but realistically no one dresses like this in everyday life. The first outfit is so overdressed for a trip to the market, semi transparent knitted dress with bikini to the restaurant is not appropriate in most places for dinner. And the combination of silk skirt and woven basket looks good but in real life the basket will quickly shred the delicate silk fabric if you will hold it close to the skirt.
This is exactly I was thinking about during the whole video. She's gorgeous, but the true thing I admire about French style is its carelessness, that infamous "Je ne sais quoi" moment in their fashion, which is very present in French riviera. I would like to show more people with this attitute in my favourie ParisianVibe videos.
Thought the same and that her looks would be more of a fit in Paris, but then again, the channel is called ParisianVibe, so maybe it should've said 'Fashion guide filmed in the South of France' 😅
Not sure why there's so much negatively in the comments. Her looks are actual very simple e.g., white button up & wrap skirt. The bra-top or transparent shirt is on trend too, but we could always wear a tanktop instead & not follow it. Her outfits formula is helpful for swapping out! This was actually my favorite look book by parisian vibe so far :)
Thank you for your comment but there is nothing “stereotyped”. We always careful prepare for each episode which combines things we currently love / “would love to wear” together with some of the favourites of our guests (already in their wardrobe).

Maybe to avoid the young white stereotypes featured too often, it would be good to have different types of models; different ethnicities, sizes, and ages for the same topic. And I say this as a slim white woman.
I like her confidence and her choices suit her, she looks lovely. She might be a person who likes to get all attention she can get with her underwear shining trough, so she deserves it. As someone who does seem as an introvert I like minding my business more private and without much attention, so I chose my summer wardrobe differently. For the evenings it depends on my mode and my date...

Thank you for the video. Didn't like to read all the negative comments. I don't think anyone commenting nasty comments would actually go to her in the street and tell her that she is over dressed. So why saying such things online? Also, I think there is a big difference if you're walking in the city or the small villages. It gets incredibly hot in the summer (sometimes more than 40 degrees celsius), so minimal clothing is a great idea. Maria looks stunning anyhow. And If I'm not mistaken, the public of PV is mostly young women, so nothing wrong with that. I would be very happy though to see outfits on women who are a bit bigger and more average size! How to pair outfits and make them work even if you're not very thin. Keep it up!

Hello, can you make an updated video, I loved those white pants in the first outfit and they are all sold out. Maybe an a website in America that sells something similar. Or a shop that ships to America. 😭 I’ve been searching, everything I find doesn’t look similar. They are baggy or different fabric like linen, but the ones you have look so soft and smooth. I’ve turned 27 and I’m trying to update my wardrobe. I’m looking for classy styles. And those white pants were my favourite. 😅

This channel has a lot of potential if you catered to the average person. Who would wear what you are showing in real life, everything is skimpy or see through. I usually love almost all Parisian Vibe videos. But sorry - this is not my cup of tea or what I would call French chic and elegance. Transparent clothes on the street aren't really chic, when underwear is very visible. Wearable for bars and nights out, perhaps. I liked only silk skirt and white blouse. Yes, chic and effortless. Green skirt - nope. Looks like tablecloth or bed cover wrapped around the waist 😁 Sorry, Parisian Vibe. Usually, you are really chic and elegant. 🎉
Agreed. I couldn't watch this and feel inspired or informed. This model could wear a bin bag and look beautiful. The clothes were way too skimpy and over dressed. She only gets away with it because she is beautiful but most women in this outfit would be judged badly for these clothes choices. This is not street style or street smart, it's a catwalk and we don't live on the catwalk.
I loved these outfits, but I'm not sure I like the white one, different textures, yes, but I'm personally not a fan of the different shades of white together.
It would be amazing to see a more mature and plus-sized woman. The young and thin women are, of course, stunning with beautiful style (and we can all use these outfits for inspiration). But as a 41 year old, size 16, I’m not comfortable wearing a bikini top or so much sheer material. And thighs rubbing together definitely makes sheer/thin dresses and skirts not super comfy in the heat.
For the skirt/dress thing, slip shorts! Helps under skirts at any size (thigh rub/sweat can happen at lots of weights) and they've saved me from skirt-unfriendly environments like stairs with open treads/wind/subway vents/ glass floors.
