I know people might come after me for this opinion, but I honestly don’t like this iteration of Keiichi Sato. Yuji was minding his own business at work, when Keiichi bursts in, and starts correcting and criticizing him. Yuji seems to have been the only one who wasn’t aware of Keiichi’s true job at the company. And I’m not even completely sure what his job even _entails_ maybe if there was a bit more detail to the backstory, I would have understood and liked him better. But we just find out that he was captain of some team in high school? I don’t even know what team it was. I kind of thought the plot point of Keiichi marrying Yuji’s old crush would have more significance, but you could have easily removed the whole vacation scene with no major changes to the overall story. Additionally, Yuji only seemed to become dishonest at work after Keiichi showed up and started telling him how to do his job, a job he’d spent years learning to do. I can understand not wanting to switch the method you use to do something when it’s proven to work before. And Keiichi may have been correct, but he could have been a lot more polite about it.
