Congrats man! I'm Ford for life but it's definitely a nice truck and I'm happy for you. I'm going back to half ton for my next truck.... I love my super duty diesel but it's just OVERKILL as a daily driver! Can't even fit it in a normal parking spot.

love the new truck bro! Can't wait to see what you decide to do with the graphics. If you're doing a 9" life then you need to do 37" tires at minimum, no smaller.
I want to do 37s but the wheel wells on a 1500 are a tad bit smaller than that of a 3/4 ton so I'm going to go with 35s at first and then push them to 37s on the second round that way I get a better idea of how much trimming and if I want to do the trimming I'm going to need to do
Sweet ride. I would keep the chrome and put black wheels on it that have machined or chrome accents. A tiny bit of chrome looks sick on white trucks only.
Cool truck. I have a 2016 Tahoe with the 5.3, I wouldn't bother hooking a trailer to it. Does great as a good riding vehicle but I can feel the power difference with just 2 passengers in rear seat. I looked at a 2021 Chevy High Country Tahoe last week with the 6.2, I will be getting that or a Escalade with 6.2.
Yeah I have a 2011 with a 5.3 and it does really well. I ordered a cold air intake and a Diablo i3 tuner for the 2016 GMC :-) it'll help some but I plan on doing zero towing

He dropped off his 2018 Tahoe with 6.2, a month ago the trans had to be replaced, destroyed itself while towing an enclosed aluminum trailer with 2 motorcycles and gear. This time in, the replaced trans was not shifting. So even tuning the 5.3 to get more power, trans may not hold up.
Yeah I got a really good deal on it and I want to lift it it's more of a personal office vehicle. The kind of work I'll be doing in this is irrigation or flowers. But it's not going to be a full working tow truck. Like I said more of my office and personal vehicle
