How was your driving permit experience? Was it harder than you expected?
I think it was easy but it was a long time ago!
My experience was great because I had actual supportive parents who didn't embed it into my psyche that I would fail.
I failed my permit test 3 times and passed my drivers test the very first time !
I failed 3 times lol even after studying. But my husband passed it with flying colors w/o studying lol.
But I got my license with the first attempt on my driving test!
I passed. I thought it’d be hard, but it was actually pretty easy I didn’t get any wrong. Don’t psych yourself out. I also prayed, Lord knows I needed it lol 🙏❤️!! (Got my permit last year in July)
Amyah is a real live teenager! Failing a test she didn’t take seriously enough the first time. That’s youth’s inexperience. Eight days makes all the difference. CONGRATULATIONS! The car buying trip was so funny, Baby proved to be BossBaby. Lol. Y’all have great family time. I love the positive energy!

Baby grew up so fast and is so smart.
This was so hilarious to watch because this is exactly what happened when I took mine. Down to my mom forcing me to go back inside to get a handbook & me realizing all of the test questions were in it. My dad also thought I was joking about failing 😂😂😂 She’ll definitely pass the second time!!
Hey Alena, don't be too hard on Amaya. Over half of teens do not pass the driver's test the first time. She will eventually pass. It's okay:)
I decided to learn to drive in my 20s and I failed a few times. I failed the permit test like 4 times and passed the driving part 1st try. It’s not easy for some 😊
I had to take mines online at home because it was so difficult

Alena I'm sooooo glad you picked the car you wanted. We as wives and mothers do so much for our families. That we often forget to do things for ourselves. I got rid of my Mom Mobile last year and it feels good zipping thru the city with my new whip!!!! 😂💜💜

Legally she has to be 20- 21 to drive her minor siblings around without one of her parents or someone 25 years of age being in the car.
The DMV lines are crazy. Never go alone, you’ll be bored.
I was having a horrible day until I saw Alena try to get in that car belly first & Joe teasing. I love this family. LOL! Baby makes my day because she's SUPER smart - I saw it really early in her.

Write down the questions and see at the end if you can answer it without looking in the book! It will all come back when you do the test! Good luck love! You can do it ……. Yes you can! Almost all teenagers fail their driver's test the first time because they're not for sure what to expect/ I flunked my test the first time/ instructor asked me to back my car up/ I put too much gas to the pedal and was wiggling back and forth so that's what made me fail my test/ just keep practicing on everything that is in the book/ specially parallel parking/ turns/ watching for signs/ follow exactly what the book says and you'll pass your next test and also listen to your parents on how to drive the car it will make a huge difference/ love Peggy from California
I passed my written test no problem. The driving part, a different story. I failed it but was able to go to another location on the same day and passed it with no problem. This was back in 1991 when they had to put all of the information into the system manually.

@@Lily-ow5wm When the instructor told me to press on the gas to go extremely fast and then stop; I hit the cone. He then told me I failed. When I got out of the car my mom asked me why did I speed off like that? I told her he told me to do that. Other people thought I had messed up as well until their children told them the same thing. So, other people started talking and all the parents remembered the other location. Everyone from that location started showing up at the other location. It was about five or six of us. At the other location, everyone passed with no problems. It's like this dude was trying to fail us on purpose.
I would recommend hiring an instructor for the road/driving test, they are much more keen on the rules of the road than the average parents.

I passed my instructions permit the first time BUT I failed my driver's license test twice!!!! In the state of MN you are only allowed to take the driver's test twice for FREE and after that you gotta pay! I for sure made SURE I passed the 3rd damn time! Practice is key! You got this girl!

Alena on my daughters drivers test she literally peeled off. I stood there stunned. When they turned the corner I heard her peel off again! I was laughing and crying at the same time. Of course she failed but passed the 2nd time. All apart of growing pains.

Love this video. As someone with test anxiety my mom also took me as a “surprise” to the DMV and I failed. Try not to surprise your kids like this, definitely love being prepared.

Encouragement is key. I remember failing once and one of my company managers took me the second time after work. I came out failed, then she encouraged me to go back and retake it again. I passed the third time and it was because of her encouragement in the midst of the tears of defeat that I became victorious through Jesus. That memory of myself walking to her car in tears and her telling me she wasn’t going to let me back into her car until I passed. That following week I put a down payment on my first car and it was such a proud moment to drive to work that first time and show her my car keys. Ps. She was only my manager 2 months before this happened. 😭❤️🙏🏽💯

i failed my permit test a couple times like a lot of times i feel like 😂 and one day my dad came home from work and said “let’s go! your taking your test today” and i kept saying no because i was scared to fail again but when we went i passed luckily and my dad was so happy.
