2023 TF - CIF-ss Masters - 4x400 Relay (Girls Championship)

As Masters approaches this weekend, we look back at one of the strongest fields Southern Section has mustered in the 4x400 Relay. Last year, the first 5 teams that finished at Masters also finished identically in the State Final. Lots of seniors among those 5 teams so they will have to re-load this year.

The Southern Section Masters meet was held at Moorpark High School on May 20, 2023. Since the State meet only runs a single set of races, Southern Section must winnow down the best from their 4 divisions into a slate to be entered in the State meet. Generally, Southern Section sends the top 6 from each race to State but this race was fast enough that it sent 7 and almost sent all 9.
