I agree about the restaurant's decor. It's weird for a Asian restaurant!! And I agree too about the bean sprouts lol. So many places like to overload the bean sprouts blegh. I could do with less green vegetables too but that's me. I'd be happy with just beef and noodles!
I agree with Danny.
The problem with bean spouts is they taste so dirty.
If they didn't taste that way I'd eat them a lot.
Now korean soybean sprouts, (the ones with the yellow bean on the ends)
those I really love.
That chili crunch is actually a thing right now.
I think they're crunchy half dried (?) peppers in chili oil.
They sell it in jars (at trader joes?)
I'm gonna have to try them sometime.
I hope they have one with garlic in it.
$21.00 for Beef Chow Fun…little costly. Chili Oil, the one with peppers! Hmmm, not many bean sprouts…lucky. Beef looked seared well. Wow an 8.5 score 👍. Happy you took the chance on the Chi Asian. Did you find a place in Vegas yet? Enjoy the videos.
It used to cost 75 cents in 1970. I think part of reason why it was cheap back then was because Asian food was very unknown by many Americans
That looks better than a lot of the Beef Chow Fun that you've had recently. Wow an 8.6, that has to be good.

That wok hey (msp no doubt) style of preparing chow fun is a lost art ! I am so glad you found a place that does that - the char and sear into the meat, noodles edges and veggies - hmmmmmmm ! I love that you are on a mission to find the best beef chow fun and the Strat comes pretty close ! More and more these days the chow fun noodle I am served is also with delicate noodles vs. the chewier double-stuck noodles of yesterday. Those were the bomb. Thanks Danny for this delectable video and I am so glad you found a winner !!! Cheers !!!

Las Vegas has the most expensive Beef Chow Fun in the world, but not the best in the world. This is what I learn watching these videos.

Looks like a place to check out. For $21, the Chow Fun probably should be of higher quality. I'm sure there are some other good Chinese/ American dishes they must serve.

I’ve stayed at the Strat 2x, but that was 20+ yrs ago. Was caught by surprise on my 2nd stay with a $9.99/nt resort fee.
You are a really "FUN" guy. Seems like you are on a mission to try all the beef chow fun places in Vegas.

I love beef chow fun. My late MIL, exwife and her brother used to make it for me. My son says that his cousins, Mike and Andrew, at their restaurant, Dim Sum and Then Some in Galloway Township, NJ (close to AC),, make it the best that he and his wife's relatives have ever tasted (and they concurred). They are of Malaysion Chinese ancestry and have been eating chow fun all of their lives. The dim sum is VVG too, I've only had it reheated as my health prevents me from traveling so far, Danny, please give them a try when you get down to AC agaun and tell them Uncle Chip recommended them, Different topic - I can make Cantonese Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, but I cannot make "Chinese Pork Pie", even when my ex and her brother send me one to steam. So those are 3 of my favorite dishes, along with dim sum, duck, char siu, stir fried baby bok choy and a few other veggies. I' a shut in now, watch CZcams probably 8 hours a day and slways look forward to your Vlogs, Danny, keep up the great work, Although decent Cantonese shrimp with lobster sauce is hard to find here in NW NJ, Hong Kong Palace in Hackettstown makes a decent beef chow fun, which I wouldn't fream of trying to make,

OMG,I can’t believe that I just finished my Beef Chow Fun dinner, before I viewed your Beef Chow Fun dinner. My dinner cost $8.75(including tax), compared to you paying $21(not including tax & tip). There did not appear to have much beef, so correct me if I’m wrong; to justify the $21 cost.

DTM is that a chow fun salad or brothless pho? I've never seen a chow fun in a fancy bowl. Was the restaurant at somebody's garage? I thought tips were always optional? DTM/DTH (Danny The Handyman) fixing furnitures for free chow fun. DTM never pays 😂

Beef Chow Fun Tour 2024 - OMG, 8.5 at the STRAT ? Surprise, surprise, surprise ! ( Gomer Pyle USMC )
$21 with the size of the portion to match. But it is part of the ploy to increase revenues, why sell 5 orders with decent portions at $15 each when you can add a few extra noodles and pieces of meat and sell it at $21? That is $30 more in sales. Whether the customer eats the whole order or not, the restaurant got an extra $6 out of the customer.
Danny… I think they have included “tip” charges on that $21 beef chow function. Chinatown restaurants charge on the average $14 to $15 for beef chow fun.
