I think we need his anti corruption stance in the RSA parliament, coz we not getting that the crooks in charge. I like the fact that he has a track record of anti corruption, coz he really did what he says he did. It's not politicking, it's not propaganda it's just reality.

This is arguably one of the greatest interviews the black pen has ever had. As a South African from the 90s seeking insight into our history. No school or book can give you this in 3 hours. The politics, business leaders of the time. The structure of the country, the first hand experience of it described so vividly. Unintentionally you can almost identify the point at which the country turned for the worst. Particularly around funding of political parties, the loss of institutional memory the creation of black wealth(albeit not much), the infestation of corruption. The birth of our country as you now know it. This interview is gold. Most of us dont know this mans history before this interview.

Not Only did General Bantu Holomisa articulate a blue print of whats needed in South Africa but he lived by example and stood by his ideals. I notice that the ANC of the 90's didn't want anyone with brains or leadership qualities. They were looking for sheep to be herded. One wonders why such an National Treasure is not part of the transformation of what could fix South Africa. Thank you Penuel for letting the General speak and drop all History we didn't know we needed. Well done!

First time I here General Holomisa was involved in planning for Madibas house next to N2 high way in Qunu. So that brings memories to say, that's Why Mandela like him so much. I heard the jokes between him and Tata Madiba so that on its own shows how this 2 gentleman were intact.
I remember also in 1991 when General Holomisa ex Colleague Craig Duli plan a coup to take over from Holomisa bt he failed bcz General was strong. I remember that week, Craig Duli and his counter parts with the Help of FW De Klerk SADF started to attack Transkei Defence Military Bace at 3am in the marning bt they fail to take over from Holomisa.
Craig Duli make a mistake by going straight to Holomisas office early morning hours call him and tell him he is taking over
General Holomisa himself he was ready for the enemy and he was on full uniform with his R4 riflle.
Craig Duli was short and killed in the afternoon in Botha Sigcau building at Mthatha by Transkei Special Force army wing. Do not underestimate Holomisa he is a strong man.
Im just sharing to those who dont know the General. Salute General

Very informative and eye openning, Loved tata Bantu, he wasn't bias and didn't try to paint his fellow opposition party in a bad light, just spoke the truth. it's a pity people like this are all gone from the ANC

Its unfortunate that the UDM might receive less than 50k votes this year. Maningi lama party yeses. We need the General as a president just for 3 months, you will see a lot of changes.

What a treasure of wisdom RSA has in the General, a wise man indeed❤.... wish the UDM could grow to a point of ultimately being the party running the country (my view) ... Thank you Penza, for this platform ever since I came across it my eyes have been opened so much by the different great minds you have sat with. Thank you

We need more of these conversations with people that were involved in our history and ultimately shaped our future. I can't say I remember being taught about Chris Hani, Bantu Holomisa not even Steve Biko....yet we were taught thoroughly about Hitler. It's as if they want to remove important figures of our history and "glamourise" foreign ones.

Utatu Holomisa is a real leader who means business you can look into his eyes and tell he's been in the water with the sharks..
