Saw Nova Twins live when they supported Enter Shikari and both me and my mate were stunned by the bassist and their sound! They are awesome!

Agreed. Georgia's pedal work on the bass is inspired.

Please listen to either Lose Your Head, Play Fair, Antagonist, Puzzles or Choose Your Fighter 🥺 You can definitely hear The Prodigy influence

This song is definitely a bit less dirty, grungey, punky. A bit more of a pop melody floating over the fuzzy bass. I like to think of their music usually like a mix of The Prodigy and, I dunno, Grime (stuff like Skepta) music and Rage Against the Machine?

The girls are great and a breath of fresh air. At the moment, I prefer their first album and assorted stand alone tracks to the new album, but it's still very good. Check out their earlier tracks Play Fair and Taxi.

As a a fellow black woman and metalhead I really want to like this band but they're not quite there for me. They have a great groove, I love the fuzz on the bass and the screaming works but it feels a little try hard, maybe it's their styling but the overdone punk aesthetic comes off as a little Avril Lavigne. I think they have talent and the fusion of genres is interesting. I'm not crazy about the pop elements though and at the moment it seems a little inauthentic, like pop stars playing dress up as rockers. These girls have the chops to be real rock musicians though, I think they just need to put loosen up a bit, stop worrying about playing dress up and maybe work on some better lyrics.

I’d recommend listening to their other stuff though…seems like a lot of what you said is based off of this song alone? Plus, they enjoy fashion and make their own clothes, if they genuinely like what they wear why should they change?
