It is a land of warriors and Saints, and two of the most famous, Saint Patrick and Saint Columba, are also tied to the history of Donegal. Such is the land that gave birth to Clannad.
It's rather interesting to see (at 15.20) Ireland's top solo artist/musician left to play two thumps on the bongos at the back, whist everyone else is singing with instruments at the front! Life, eh?
What is funny here, is Enya is so far back you barely recognize her. She is the sister of the lead singer, Moya. And she became, up to this point in time, the greatest solo singer, song writer and composer in Irelands history. And she was an absolute goddess, beauty wise, in my mind at least, not to mention her genius. I am a retired, PhD millionaire. Back then then I was struggling when this movie was made. But maybe if I had met up with her back then, hmmm? I think I would have really liked that.

Maybe I'm nit picking here, but there is very little mention about Enya in this documentary, you should change the title to Clannad and Moya ... it is mainly about her older sister Moya ( Maire Ni Bhraonain ) , the leading singer and harp player.. Enya was playing electric piano and she was a secondary singing voice
It is July 4, 2024. Looking at these videos and wondering why the question now being commonly heard is: " Enya and Clannad ARE RELATED???" It was not that long ago that the common understanding here in the States was that they had no connection and were, in fact, musical rivals.
As someone who has all of Enya's albums, this seems to me like a prequel of sorts, a glimmer of the greatness that the cute raven-haired brown-clad girl on the far right of the stage is destined for. 😎👍
