Fantastic, honest and objective review as always! Keep up the awesome work! As you rightly pointed out, the lack of rear AC vents, minimal ADAS and even lack of rear armrest at this price point are a huge disappointment.

Mercedes is playing right into the hands of the Chinese car makers. At the Beijing motor show, there was very little interest in the German luxury brands. All the interest was focused on the amazingly good Chinese cars. Against this backdrop, to launch such an inferior quality car as the GLA, MB must be tone deaf.
New car but still LED reflector headlights. Shame on Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
well said, its about time already bringing all the tech for this premium tag price of cars, thats y most of people will look after jpn spec, they put most of the features even for the entry level spec

Fashionable my foot 😂. Idk why merc chose this bulbous design. Not forgetting how cheap it is looking now if comparing to the previous gen. Even the x1 now is better looking.
There are many more better choices out there nowadays, especially with the ongoing EV war going on out there!
I don't know if it's me, but the fact that this review included the mini and smart while leaving the XC40 out makes no sense. The XC40 literally offers everything and more the Benz has to offer except for the logo and the infotainment screen, for a similar price.
To say the price for this gla200 is reasonable is laughable at most. To me you're just paying a quarter million for a RGB piece of plastic, with a Benz logo sticked on.

Gearbox is from Getrag
ADAS is only basic
Rear aircond is missing
Rear USB port is missing
Rear armrest is missing
Exhaust tips are fake
Performance is below average
Back seat is uncomfortable
Exterior design is uninspiring
It only sells because of the badge
