Lol! I'm a drummer but even if I wasn't I thought this was an excellent review. Answered a ton of real relevant questions . Most videos people just ramble on and don't stick to the point. Thanks man
Thanks for watching. Also, don’t forget to sign up for the Simmons Titan 50 B-EX giveaway! Go to www.keithronpowell.com
I bought the Simmons titan 70 from watching your previous reviews on it and don’t regret it!!
I appreciate your help and guidance to new drummers!! 19:26
You’re welcome and congratulations
Nothing can stop Titan 70 . Better dynamic s all the way
Yeah… it’s been unbeatable!
Thank you Keithron...excellent review! 😎✌

Great review and comparison! You made some really fair points. One of these companies should hire you as a consultant to get input on designing the ultimate kits for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players at a variety of price points. You seem to know what makes a great eKit for a variety of players and where these kits both shine and miss the mark.
Btw, that system to build the Donner kit is epic - no tools!!
I agree! I’d love to be part of that process and on payroll! That donner set up is crazy
I’m sold on the Simmons. Thanks!!
Good choice! Use my code to have it shipped to your door.
I don’t know what the deal is but I was never a fan of the drum samples on the Titan 70. Ended up finally getting a Roland TD17 after a string of cheaper e-kits and I’m 100% satisfied
As long as you’re satisfied
Simmons for the W

Wondering if you have any plans to review some real feel cymbals and hi hats, like the Low Volume cymbals with triggers? Starting to think about upgrading my hi hats to some of these for more real feel.
Thanks bro , the long waited review finally.....
So far titan is the king ..
Titan has been killing from the jump… its time to put it against ore expensive drums
@KeithronPowell
I really appreciate how you review budget friendly drum sets.I believe in the electric drum categorie most of the people tend to buy these drum sets for practice purposes and considering the space and sound problems which comes with acoustic drums.
If possible, please check into tables top drum pads too.
I can’t do the table top pads… I just can’t. I believe in the drums but not them table things.
@@KeithronPowell
I completely agree...
could you do a video playing the titan 70 without the drum audio? i might get one but i don’t want it to be too loud for other people. i love your vids keep it up
It won’t be loud. I did a video short like this. It’s really not that loud. The neighbors won’t notice it
@@KeithronPowell okay thank you
@@KeithronPowell also does it come with a good pair of headphones or should i buy a better pair
What ekit do you recommend I want to start recording drum covers on CZcams I've been watching your videos and reviews and it's still hard to choose lol I love them all
I say let your budget dictate. If you’re going to use a VST like EZDRUMMER or Superior Drummer it almost doesn’t matter. If you’re going to use the stock sounds go with T70. The sounds are the most natural sounding.
Thanks for this comparison review! I'm seriously considering getting the Donner DED500 PRO. For a while I believed that the Titan 70 was the one for me, but after trying it out at a guitar center, it really felt so unnatural. Mind you, I practice with an Alesis- the cheap ones for $300- so I'm hoping that the DED500 Pro has that same feel. Especially with that separate hi-hat stand! Hopefully they send you the Pro to review, because I really hope it doesn't have a machine gun effect. But thanks again for these reviews, they're invaluable.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching.
The donner got more points than I expected, great review
Really? If it was the pro I think it’d be a lot closer!
@@KeithronPowell I don't know, maybe I'm biased against donner cause their customer support isn't very knowledgeable in my experience
The last 2 days has been serious pondering..this titan e drum set hopefully will help although it has no direct outs..because i have analog..soundscraft 32 le..but i do have an interface module..hopefully find a,way or ..at least be able to tweak the titan module to sound sweet as a mix left an right straight in..
It does have left/right outs.
Ok that's good if I get a good mix on the module that will be very cool..im thinking record my zildjians with the titan..too
Another descent Review... nothing else expected 😉
I knew before that'll be a Close one 😅..
Just to let ya know, the DED 500 pro ain't available to Order here Overseas, not even trough the official DONNER Europe Website 🤔🤔
Anyway...thnx for the Video...
Peace🥁🥁
I keep wondering what’s the drum that will take the T70 down. So far it’s been unbeatable by all the ones I’ve looked at. I think the DED500 Pro might give it a run though.
Can you make a tutorial how to play along with music if its drumless or somethin..
And how to make a drum cover?
🤔 Now this may be a really good idea here!
In case I don’t do it… you need a computer (of course) a DAW, like Logic Pro or ProTools. Next you need to drop the drummers track into the DAW. I ideally it’ll have percussions in it to help keep time. If not you’ll have to use the DAW to create the click track, too long to explain here… next practice it multiple times before you record so you know where you’re going.
Yeah… I need to do a video… that’s a lot of work though. Ugh. 😂
@@KeithronPowellthank u so much men., I really appreciate it.. Cause im planning to get this titan 70 next week.. and Im so excited for this kit
Are the crashes on the Titan 70 dual zone? Do they have choke? It looked like you said the Donner dual crashes, but the Titan's crashes only had single. PS - Great reviews. Im getting back into drumming and these two have been my struggle along with the Alesis Nitro Max and Alesis Surge.
Yes and yes
🙏
I bought the titan 50 and then 70 based on your reviews
Awesome!
@@KeithronPowell Do you think theyll come up with an expansion pack soon?
It's my birthday, send that unclaimed drumset my way 😂
😂😂😂 happy birthday
@@KeithronPowell thank you!!!
Slick graphics, high level production these days!
What about Roland’s ??
If they even send me one I’ll review it. I’ve never gotten an offer.
oh ok
Titan 70. Easy drummer 3. Win
