I like how starvation changes your appearance depending on how much health you have or how fly boy turns you into a messed up version of beelzebub. The effort and attention to detail in this mod is astounding ngl.
It's pretty awesome how much attention to detail there is in this mod, it truly is incredible!
Fly Boy leaving you with a worse fire rate after completing the transformation is a little disappointing imo. I would have it go neutral or give a slight tears up.
Fly boy feels like a reference to the movie "The Fly."
i really think it is. I would have been cool if it took a quote from the movie like "The Politics of Insects"
It is, its tooltip is "Chronenberged", Chronenberg was the director of "The Fly"

In my opinion there should be a 0.01% to get this item when teleporting yourself

Curse of Flesh is a very powerful item and also balanced

Thank God I have 12 full red hearts. It would be a shame if I were to stumble into an unidentified hematemisis pill.
Flyboy looks really grotesque
Those last two items are certainly something. Love the ideas and execution behind them! Good showcase as always.
With the new changes in Repentance, Curse of Flesh + Converter is now an absolutely busted run-winning combo, unless your character can't have red hearts.

Ideas and visuals are great in this mod.
My only downer is that I would have liked starvation more if it functioned based on how many heart containers are filled instead on how many you have. It would fit more.

that first item seems really helpful, but starvation for me just seems..... meh, I'd probably try to go for firerate there. FlyBoy is really cool tho.
if its able to break the tear cap then starvation could be really good
It isn't. So if your tear rate is already capped, it's practically free damage with no downsides.

Starvation is such a good item for people who have no red hearts
Curse of flesh can be exploited in Repentance with Converter for infinite health...

Fly Boy is a contender for the worst looking item alongside The Intruder

All of these are gruesome. The effects are so indepth and confusing, even for me. Great items, but they don't seem worth the hassle.
Expect Curse of Flesh. That's alright.
Sickmmaner Plays Curse of flesh is kinda OP
curse of flesh basically converts all heart containers into a better version of bone hearts, you get double the amount of hits at the cost of a heart container

What happens if you pick up fly boy on a later floor? Does it skip the transformation?
Week late but. No it doesn't sadly, so if you pick up flyboy too late you don't get the Beelzebub transformation from just it. So you would be hoping for that item early on in the run.
