I'll say the same thing about LeBron James that I have said about Tiger Woods: His excellence makes me proud to be a member of the same race as him - the human race! LeBron's excellence is the result of God-given natural talent. But many have had similar talents. What has made LeBron the GOAT and given him unbelievably endurance is his superior work ethic. And it is this that I hope will be his greatest influence for those who look like him and those who don't.
I also love that LeBron is so transparent about what he thinks and how he approaches his craft. Unlike most athletes, he is always a great interview.
LeBron pushes himself more than just about anyone. And such people sometimes flame out. Not that I want to see it, but, if he dies with his sneakers on (as people like him sometimes do), it will be as he wanted it.
