  • In this video I am going to show you how I make my easy flaxseed leave in conditioner. I have been using flaxseed in my hair a lot lately and I can honestly say that my natural hair has been flourishing.
Flaxseed is great for hair because it:
    1. Nourishes Hair and Scalp.
    2. Grows Strong Hair.
    3. Fights Scalp inflammation
    4. Makes Hair Smooth and Flowing.
    5. Reduces Hair Loss.
As I am regrowing my hair, it is important to keep it moisturised so I can retain length. This is the exact recipe that I used to overcome my recent protein overload so I can absolutely vouch for it.
Not only is my hair growing, but it also stays moisturised for longer. What are you waiting for? Give it a try and let me know the results.
    Ingredients:
    Flaxseed
    Water
    Rosemary essential oil
    Carrot oil (made with rapeseed)

All CZcams videos should be like this and you wouldn't need TikTok!

How long before I have to throw out?
I've kept mine in the fridge for 3 months and still use it, smell hasn't turned rancid, color is the same, works just as well!

Hello, I only usually make enough for a week so I've never needed to keep it longer than that. Wooah! Does it last long? Is it safe to use?

I love the short and sweet !!! Thank you ! Would you happen to know how long a batch this amount will last ?

Thanks. In terms of time - mine kept in the fridge for about a week. I took it out earlier when I wanted to use it, else it is cold.
In terms of usage - it depends on what you do with it and how much hair you have/how thick your hair is, I used it to twist and remoisturise so I always had a lot left.

Does it make hair crunch when it is dry???

No, it shouldn't make hair stiff or too flaky, plus with the high levels of fatty acid and Vitamin E it should nourish your hair.

Can I mix Silicone oil with flaxseed gel

    • @shannichristie8264

I don't see why not. The great thing about the gel is that you can just rinse it out because it won't make your hair rock hard. As with all other products just monitor your hair and see how it reacts. (Curious, why have you chosen to use silicone oil as opposed to someone more "healthy"?)

Sorry I haven't been online recently. You can leave it in - it's like gel but without the toxins. I usually wash my hair weekly/fortnightly, so unless I use get a build up I leave it in.

No it's a little thick... I usually use it in a pump bottle. You can make it thinner but the effect might not be the same.
