I’m from Vallarta, I was born and raised there for almost my entire life, and usually whenever there’s hurricane alerts nothing really happens like a couple of years ago, and I thought that it was gonna be the same this year, I stayed home and didn’t go to work that day and HOLY SHIT THANK YOU DAD FOR NOT ALLOWING ME TO GO TO WORK, I was so surprised when the bridge just collapsed, my mom showed me a video, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m scared of the weather and for the people here tbh.

Thank you so much for presenting this raw and unedited video. We live in PV during the winters and consider it our home away from home and it makes us so sad to see the damage and destruction. Your video retraced the walks I do most every morning. It killed a little part of my soul to see how much damage there is. We pray for all of the people of PV and know that they will rebuild and life will go on, but in the mean time, life will have many challenges.

Wow, congratulations what an extraordinary job you did showing us the real situation in PV. So very sad to see my town under these destruction. I have to add that this images are in other places as well a long the Pitillal an Ameca River where the destruction is even worse.

That is our old neighborhood. We moved to Bucerias 3 years ago after almost 8 years in PV/Amapas/Conchas Chinas. Crazy... We got hit hard here but we used to walk our dogs down all those streets and our fave business are just trashed.

It’s sad to see Puerto Vallarta in such disarray. The locals were already struggling to put food in their tables due to COVID pandemic. I know this will make it a lot worse for the poor people.

Wow! A lot of mud! Compared to what it did to New Orleans, this looks like Disneyland.

The Mexican people are really hard workers and in one month you won’t even know it happened. This will be all cleaned up.

I'll be there in about two weeks. I have family I'm visiting. Luckily they are all fine.
