Take note. This is what the future of talk show should be for international or guests that don't speak English. Let both have an earpiece, let them each speak their languages, and have translators behind the scene so you can allow them to speak their language.

I really love that Jimmy gave him the space to speak in his native language and to switch between English and Korean - I can't see any other American hosts doing it so openly and not let language "barriers" ruin the conversation (I don't like the word "barriers" but I can't think of a better one). Jungkook has come SO far and it's amazing to continue to see him progress. This was an amazing interview!

The duality of this man is something to be studied. It brings out a lot of real ARMYs duality too and it's so funny. Jungkook is very honest but guarded; confident but unsure (or he is just really a perfectionist) strong but gentle; sexy but so endearing. He's so endearing that you just want cry when you see him. The urge to protect an adult, physically fit man. He is both real and a fantasy. Extremely talented but soooo humble. BTS's humility is also so admirable. Please protect this man. I don't like kpop either. But they started in hip-hop and are regular pop now. But a out of all BTS songs have rarely heard kpop from them. They are just from Korea and was pushed into that title I think.

Jimmy is such a good interviewer, and he has so much respect for the boys, and it shows. BTS always choosing to work with him also shows he must respect them offline too. Jimmy seems like a genuine army and it's lovely to see the shared love between them, the boys always feel and look so safe
As a fan of BTS since 2014, it amazes me to see Jungkook from being a shy boy to a shining confident that he is now. He is well raised by his brothers in BTS as he is showing confidence and humility during this talk show. Thank you Jimmy for warmly welcoming our lil one!

I don’t care, Jungkook is always has been my favorite bias from BTS that makes me happy and cheerful in a positive way he is charmingly beautiful, sultry and kind hearted optimistic personality When Jk sings and dances of his music videos and performance in the K-pop music industry, he is amazing to me, I always still love and stand by him so much.
Honestly crying out of pride and disbelief at his growth. I still remember lil JK at his high school graduation shy AF. Can't even imagine how his members aka brothers that raised him personally feel.
His Weverse lives are legendary. They are HOURS long with him singing, folding laundry(his underwear lol ) , jumping to Instagram once for a Taekook live, cooking, eating, watching TV, loving on Bam, shooting the breeze, dancing, working out, and of course falling asleep WITH A CANDLE STILL LIT.
Jungkook Jeon Jackson most definitely ruled 2023. All seven did honestly but I feel like he really put himself out there to comfort us during this bittersweet era. Jin comes back next year, y’all. 2025 is almost here.

I have had pros and cons with Jimmy Fallon's interviews with BTS in the past. Sometimes I feel like he infantilizes them a little too much but CERTAINLY way less than other American interviewers. Hence ARMY tends to really like Jimmy Fallon :)
I wanted to give massive props to Jimmy Fallon for this interview. I think he did a fantastic job of treating JK a) as a human being and not like a cute baby object and b) as an artist at the top of his field. I love that he mentioned all of the records he's breaking, talked about how the album gets serious and talked about his influences. I mean WOW! I don't think I've seen an American interviewer treat BTS this well yet. Thank you for getting this one right. It means so much to me to see BTS get a platform to really talk about their artistry on such a predominant show rather than solely focusing on how cute they are and sort of making them seem like playthings to be gawked at.
PLUS finding a way to allow JK to switch back and forth between English and Korean as he felt comfortable is also amazing. For so long, Namjoon was relied upon to be pretty much the mouthpiece for BTS because he was understood and spoke English best. Hopefully with the development/introduction of these earpieces more of the members can get involved in interviews in the future. It really helps the interviewees express themselves more clearly and thoroughly. I loved watching this.
Of course, I am so proud of Jungkook for his development and his massive success that is Golden. I always cry when listening to him recite his poem "Golden/Hwangeum" -- "I don't want to lose this precious light". Gets me every time. From all those years ago to now releasing his album Golden... just wow. He's a force to be reckoned with!
He is just so darn likable! Look at those big round eyes, so earnest and sweet, the genuine excitement being on the show, and his big big love for his team members and his fans. You really just have my whole heart, JK.

Jimmy does such a great job with the BTS members. It can be awkward with the translators and the guys have to think about how to talk in English. Jimmy really does well going with the flow and keeping it all moving. And kudos to Jimin, Suga and now JK putting themselves in the uncomfortable position of trying to understand and speak English in front of a live audience.
It would be better if American talk show hosts learn another language. That way it is easier to converse with many celebrities who struggle with English.

I used to be such a huge BTS Stan back in 2019 - 2021. I am not in the fandom anymore as I grew out of the whole being a “stan” thing, but it still makes me very proud and happy seeing how successful they are and how far Jungkook has come with his solo music! 🤍
Also - DAMN his English! I remember how he said he wanted to become better at English to communicate with his fans, and wow you can really notice that he has worked so hard to learn. So impressive!

I love Jungkook very much because of his visuals, voice, charisma and cute lovable personality. Not really a BTS fan but then their ARMY fandom really has degraded to this toxic, abusive, possessive entitled group who insist a new Jungkook fan love the other six lest he hate and reject you as well as them. They're too self absorbed to see their prejudiced overbearing responses actually deter new JJKers from ever wanting anything with ARMY'S and BTS but will more rebelliously focus on Jungkook. So be it. No one can make me like another person celebrity or not. Music. Whatever. I'm a Jungkook fan and will only support him.
Jungkook's English is quite good and his accent is very beautiful while speaking and exceptionally good while singing. Proves he's got a very good ear!
