@@oliververgara7151 Why you say not a decent one? Nobody knows how we will die, unless you did something bad or you have a serious illness. He didnt died from drug addiction, alcoholism, criminal act, or suicide. Everybody dies, and Manong Eddie lived a full life.

Anyway, I think what he only meant is that life is too short, and he spends on anything that he wants in life. Pwede din naman nating gawin yun ganon basta sa tamang limit lang kasi we're not like them na they really do have a lot of money. Kahit nagse-save tayo for emergency, it doesn't hurt to spend an appropriate amount even once for a while :)
One of the few actors who doesn't need issues or linked himself to other actresses just to build his name in the industry.. Pure acting at its finest.. Brilliant actor and very rare to find.. A big respect to this one of a kind actor..

The first time I saw him, I was only what? 8-9 years old. 30 years ago! He was really a military man. The way he walks, he stands. Alam mong sundalo hindi dahil sa gaganapan nya sa pelikula. When we stopped to watch the filming, we were young then nasa service kami, sabi nya "Aral mabuti mga bata". Like you were listening to your father's deep voice.
Ng makita ko itong video na ito, he reminds me of my father (beard). Ganyan na ganyan, nagpakalbo na lang si erpat eh. My father passed away 3 years ago. And knowing that Sir Eddie Garcia is gone I felt so sad as what I felt when my father left.
You are right, people will soon forget you. But for now, we will cherish all the memories you left. You were once known as Mr. Eddie Garcia and no one can replace your chair.

Way back 20 years ago I had a drink with Sir Eddie and he so down to earth and during that time I was an electrician and honestly he is very low and we didn't expect that Sir Eddie would join a drink to us like labor people. To Sir Eddie Garcia I salute and say your the greatest man I ever met. God bless you and more power and long life ahead of you.

Everybody dies. What matters is what we did when we were still alive. And how generations learn from what we did. I hope the millenials, the current new generation, will learn and remember Eddie Garcia's legacy and pass it on to the next generation. If we dont learn from our history then that explains the sorry state of our people's intellect today.

Im a millenial but Ive seen his movies and how he portrayed each character, watched his interviews, and man I truly admired this guy- he had no reservations whatsoever he speaks his mind, no bullshit, no fancy talk to gain attention but direct to the point. Pag labas ko ng kwarto narinig ko na lang sa radyo wala na sya :( Pareho sila ng tatay ko, ayaw mambabae kasi sakit lang daw ng ulo. After listening to his past video interviews, he seems like a really good man. A great example of an artist who truly values his craft
