Really like seeing the process. Getting to see that they repair things that weren't even mentioned. That means they actually look at each one and repair it as close to like new as they can. Awesome video man!!
Do all brass Zippos come with a brass insert? I'd love to get a brass Armor, but hate how the finish wears to steel on the insert. I guess I could get it replaced when it is eventually serviced, however I'd prefer it to have matching dates. Also, is an Armor really that resistant to dents when compared to a Classic?
The Armour is better at not getting dense but brass is weak and is still prone to it. If you want a good Armour go for a strong material. And the only inserts that are 100% brass are very old and being brass, very weak.
How you go about sending one in, never had one that broke on me. Got a Chevrolet one from like 2002 that my Buddy gave me for a birthday present forever ago. Tried to open it the other day and the top just went flying 😂
I've been thinking about sending in some of my older zippos for service, did they charge you anything for the new inserts? Or repairs? Also nice video man love to see old zippos get some love
That moment when your camera is supposed to be really good but when you upload the video it looks like shit .

Very nice! Zippo really did a great job on those!
Gotta love the tight hinge.
They know how to do tight hinges! I used my 2005 zippo as a lantern/candle pretty often and it still light's good
i like that hillybilly zip too
that black crackle would look sweet with a brass insert
So can you send the case in & Zippo will replace the insert as well even if you send it without one?
How do you change your zippo click sounds

Zorro does solid brass inserts.
Was it manufacturer or third party repair service?

Put a piece of pencil spring underneath cam rivet plate and your brass zippo lid and it won’t be loose . Bye!
