    You are the best at timelapse/hyperlapses, I would be very interested in a video showing how you record timelapses on a full frame camera! Your work is so sharp. Its always a pleasure to watch these explanations. Thank you

    Great video about the filters👍For me the most important reason for ND/PL filters from Freewell is the motion blur for flying low over fields, trees etc. And especially for the Mini 3 Pro to prevent the slightly color banding when flying over water. You really need the ND/Pl filters for preventing this. I discovered the slightly color banding in some scenario's without the ND/Pl filters, with the filters on it was totally gone! I mostly use the ND32PL and the ND64PL. Lower values are useless in most normal to bright light conditions in my personal opinion. Greetings from 🇳🇱

      You are right,
      when flying low the ND filters make a noticeable difference.
      Yes, vakue kiwer than ND32 are only useful in cloudy days or closer to sunset or sunrise

    Thanks...I've subbed and watched several of your videos the past 12 hours and you provided some great content. The only thing I hate about your videos is it just shows me how much I still need to learn. I knew most of what you said already for the ND filters, but the examples of the with/without ND filter hyperlapse of the cars in he city with the fast shutter speed with no blur that look more like stop-motion, and low shutter speed with blur is exactly what I need to show my brother. He has the Mavic 2 Pro (versus my Mini 3 Pro) so he has an adjustable aperture, but I don't think he fully realizes the value of motion blur and the correct shutter speed and 180 degree rule. I'll send him this, but I'm not sure if he has watched the other video sent explaining this. The other video was great, but your no-ND filter was more clear with the with/without ND filter than the other video.

      Yes, the control of motion blur is the absolute must in time lapses and a lot of people get it totally wrong

    very interesting video! thanks for the always updated content that you propose to us on the channel! I have seen your videos on time lapse and hyperlapse techniques with motion bleur .. I would ask you if you could go into detail on the subject explaining how to use ND filters in order to respect the 180 degrees rule .. I hope for your next video by see this content .. thanks for everything you do! top !!

    • @VICVideopIC
      @VICVideopIC  Před 2 lety +2

      Grazie Andrea,
      this is a quick and basic reply to your question: to respect the 180 rule in time lapses we have to use in most cases a shutter speed of 1 second, 1.5, or 2 seconds.
      It is in most cases impossible to use such long speeds without ND filters, as the image would be over exposed. The only way is to reduce the light entering the sensor by using the correct ND filter.
      I will very soon publish the ultimate guide to time lapses and hyperlapses which will deal with all these techniques

    Thank you, I really enjoy your videos. I would like to take photos and videos at the same time; isn’t it a problem with a nd filter, don’t you have to land the drone and remove the filter for photos?

    I’ve used the 256 ND for day shots on the DJI Mini 3 pro. But feel like it’s not enough… Where can I find a stronger ND filter? Anyone know?

    • @HITESHGG

      freewell has 512, ND2000

    • @VICVideopIC
      @VICVideopIC  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Peter,
      I do a lot of hyperlapses and I generally avoid the middle of a sunny day. ND256 is a filter that I use a lot in other drones, but the Mini 3 gathers much more light due to the very wide aperture.
      Freewell has a 6 pack set that I have linked in my video with values from ND4 to ND 64 (all you need for video), plus a ND 1000, very useful for hyperlapses.
      In this case you will have ND 64, 256 and 1000 and will be well upplied for both video and hypelapse

    • @VICVideopIC
      @VICVideopIC  Před rokem +1

      Hi Rob,
      polarized filters are very good for most used. But not for panorama photosgraphy.
      So, if you intend to do a lot of panorama better avoid them, otherwise it is a good choice

      Whenever you shoot anywhere in the direction of the sun, even close to sunset you cannot expose correctly with the Mini 3 without ND filters
