Her FG% is below average for a PF, Angel can't shoot from any range, can't dribble, can't run, and is delusional about her place in the world.

No one with a right mind would think Reese is a better player than Caitlin! Caitlin is a much better all-around talent who can create her own shot, while being the primary playmaker for her team....as a rookie! Caitlin is also a decent defender as well, with an extremely high basketball IQ. Reese just has to play her game, which requires her to have minimum skill. Reese is good, no doubt, but she is a "stat padder" as well.

Cc' 'fasted to reach' records ignore she's given more playing time than say Bird got as a rookie. When looking at cc.also look at her shot % (.Angel stinks too but not as much) and.her turn-over/assist ratio; she literally can't read the moving play. Clark is a more complete player than Reese. Anyone can score a lot and do lots of rebounds, but complementing them with passe, steals, and block shots is something that Clark is clearly on top. He many turn overs are mostly from her team not keeping up with her pace of play or just being just bad at catching her passes 60 percent of the time.

If you put Caitlin Clarks average Rebs and Assists, it the same Rebs and Assist that Reese averages. Caitlin Averages 16 pts per game to Reese 13. reese shoots 40 percent and clark 40 percent. Difference is Reese makes 5 foot shots and Clark is making 30 Ft shots.

I have to reluctantly agree with Reece fan somewhat. She is a better inside player than Caitlin is even though Caitlin's inside game isn't as bad as detractors claim. However, the WNBA should not be Showtime W. What had worked in the past in the NBA (until Silver ruined it) does not and will not work in a woman's league. So here is my free style comment on why I give the ROTY nod to Angel. Both Caitlyn and Angel are valuable. Both bring value to the table. Caitlyn is excitement she puts butts in the seats a definite plus for the league, the players, the advertisers, the merchandisers, the cities they rep, and women's sports in general. Angel is dirty work, grunt work. She brings and/or wins championships. To use a football comparison, Caitlyn is a deep pass, very exciting but also very risky. Angel is a bruising halfback or fullback. It is all about controlling the clock and moving the chains. Smashmouth bump and grind, not real pretty but very efficient. As to why Angel is the ROTY, simple, because she exceeds all expectations and Caitlyn barely meets expectations. Allow me to explain. Most of you anointed Caitlyn as "Shesus", the grand savior of the WNBA. Best female basketball player of all time. Capable of playing with the men. Touted all of her college accomplishments, and she deserves acknowledgement for her achievements for sure. But Angel, you deemed her the devil. Her stats and achievements were crap. She shouldn't be in the league. She can't carry Caitlyn's bra. Angel is a no body who is jealous of true greatness as seen in Caitlyn and that my friends is where it comes undone. Since Angel, in the eyes of most of you is useless, and untalented, a hack, there is no expectation of her but absolute failure. For Caitlyn based on the hype anything short of ROTY, the all star team, the Olympics, league MVP, a chip and Finals MVP is a wash. Yet look how close to Caitlyn Angel is stat wise. Look at those stats where Angel outdoes Caitlyn. To you Caitlyn should be walking on water and not getting wet and Angel should be bagging groceries. Still Angel keeps performing game after game and progressively getting better and stronger. From high school to the WNBA, and still quietly setting records and racking up stats while helping to move her team forward (see Monica McNutt was quite right). Angel and her mates bested Caitlyn and hers on colleges biggest stage. She got humbled again by Dawn's South Carolina squad. See to you these other women just don't measure up to precious Caitlyn. She lands on a team with Aliyah Boston, also a number 1 plus ROTY, and arguably the most complete player on the squad but its all about Caitlyn. See Angel is the ROTY because according to you she is nothing, but my God look at what nothing can do! Caitlyn will be a great basketball player, but you have to accept the fact that great basketball players don't always move the team forward. Chemistry, hard work, defense, and the right amount of offense wins chips, just saying. Do you know in '23 Caitlyn lost out to Simone Biles, now I see why you need her to win so badly, it is simply a bridge to far is she doesn't. Spoils the narrative. Clark can never be better than Reese because Reese plays BOTH ends of the court, while Clark just shoots 3s, so anybody with a set of working eyes, and an honest nature, knows that Reese is the superior player. Reese is always active in the 4th even if she's not scoring because she's rebounding, blocking shots, and forcing steals. Clark literally DISAPPEARS in the 4th of tight games because she has ZERO confidence in her shot and is only comfortable shooting as a frontrunner with the lead or a tie game. When the Fever are down, Clark freezes. To make matters worse, Clark is a defensive LIABILITY in late games because she plays ZERO defense, so the poor Fever are literally playing 4-on-5 when they don't have the ball. Reese, on the other hand, is a defensive juggernaut and has what is known as "motor." Clark is out of shape and can be seen visibly huffing and puffing on the bench. Those of you who are bandwagon jumpers know nothing about Clark, while those of us who actually WATCH basketball know that she's used to walking the ball up the court (or lightly jogging) in college, but now, she must run like she's being chased because of the full- and half-court presses she never faced in the NCAA. Reese has ALWAYS been a 2-way player and a double-double machine, which is why SHE, and not Clark, is the only rookie averaging a double-double and broke the rookie AND single-season records for consecutive double-doubles. Clark has ALWAYS been careless with the ball, which is why she leads the league in turnovers, a fact that her Stans conveniently leave out of every discussion regarding her play. Clark is all hype. She was supposed to "dominate the WNBA," remember? Clark could "play with the men in the NBA," remember? Now that she's been exposed as mediocre, her Stans have every excuse in the book for her mediocre play even going as far as saying that she gets fouled too much lol. I told my brother how I felt like they should have waited and let the white girl come into the wnba and see how her game transition from college to the pros before hyping her up so much. I know enough about basketball to comment. I pay to see Caitlin Clark play basketball. I don’t watch Angel Reese. Double doubles of points and rebounds SA in not equivalent to points, assists, rebounds, and steals. Always assists will be more valuable than rebounds because each assist results in a minimum of 2 points, often 3. They are incremental to offensive production. Also, with one game exception, Angel is lazy for the most part of every game.
