Everyone says that Gojo is untouchable in the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime, but there’s one character in JJK who DOES stand a chance, and the guy that CAN beat Gojo is Megumi's dad, Toji Fushiguro who we’ll be meeting in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Hidden Inventory Arc also known as the Gojo Flashback arc in the manga. The mystery of who Megumi Fushiguro father is and why exactly he abandoned his son will finally be revealed as we get a closer look at the character and his motivations. That was before Gojo learned RCT and when he was at his peak of being genuinely arrogant as the "strongest", alongside Geto. It also must be noted that Toji planned an elaborate course of action that involves wearing out Gojo by making him accompany the star plasma vessel to various places so as for Gojo to let his guard down. He did, when they were going back to Jujutsu High and that was when Toji's highly praised failed assassination of Gojo happened, making it so the latter unlock his potential even further.

Stood a chance before gojo learned reverse cursed technique and applied it
Toji still has a chance against prime Gojo. The Author has confirmed toji being faster than gojo, plus his main weapon the inverted spear of heaven can nullify any cursed technique meaning of he still had his weapon there is a good chance he can take down prime gojo. Plus from Maki we learn that the barriers of a cursed domain don't have effect on Maki and Toji as it treats them as inanimate objects and lets them pass freely.
This means toji is unaffected from gojos domain.
Edit: After reading the recent chapters I would change the outcome to low-mid gojo from mid-high.
The main strength of Toji lies in his cursed weapons and prep time. With all that if they were to fight I can see Toji matching Gojo in speed and maybe getting one good strike in at best. Even with all that Gojo's reverse cursed technique will allow him to heal without taking major damage.
It's gonna end with Toji unable to do any damage and running away or Gojo getting a hollow purple in and ending him.

Tojis fight relied on his information about the gojo clan techniques. He didn't know what hollow purple was and didn't account for it. He infact modified his weapon to counter gojos infinity, amplification blue and reversal red. Gojos domain expansion won't work because it treats him like an inanimate object. In conclusion given the new knowledge and what the author wants, toji definitely still has a chance since what awakening did was make him subconsciously put up infinity at all times. In fact gojo was so wrecked by it that he sealed away the inverted spear and destroyed those threads which ironically were one of the major ways to release gojo

Toji had a make a whole ass plan tiring out a 17 year old gojo who dint have red, purple, RCT, domain, teleport, auto infinite for days with an army of jujutsu sorcerers. Even by looking at toji's way of action he even thought that this 17 year old kid gojo without more than half his abilities was a no-go and had to prep. After gojo's ascension, toji got blitzed and neg diffed. Now the current gojo has a decade more experience and practice and is even stronger than his 17 year old version who sent toji to heaven. Toji is strong but he is not even top 5 on the verse.
