If it had like that DMC or Bayonetta type of controls for Asura this game would’ve been legendary cuz the cutscenes in this game alone is what shined so damn 🔥….these cutscenes and the story was literally like you were playing a anime, shit was just too epic from beginning to end including the DLC*
ehh i dont know about that. the gameplay was good for what it was, i wouldn't say that's the only thing that held the game back for a sequel, it's more of the fact if capcom could've topped it off with a sequel because asura literally fought and killed god and ended up dying because of it. idk how they would be able to top it but i'd love to see them try or at the very least remaster the game
@@BagmenXL Gameplay was good for what it was but back when it came out aside from everything else people wished the gameplay had a little more to it than what it was. That was all that was talked about the cutscenes were fire but the gameplay could’ve been a little better I remember it like it just happened back when this game came out. Now that being the reason for a sequel might be a stretch but folks wanted a little more out of this game like it was missing one minor thing when playing it and it would’ve been damn near perfect for what it brought to the table
Idk if they have to copy the gameplay, they didn't do it for GoW.
You don't need dmc,God of War and Bayonetta gameplay to make a game great that's more of personal preference not overall as even god of War it self stepped away from that it is still great.
@@jaquanbrown413 Didn’t say it needs to exact but with those games you have a certain control with the the characters where you feel like you can do whatever you want with against enemies. Asura everything is linear very simple left you feeling like we should be able to do more. In the new God of War there was worries but if you really get into the controls or seeing some high level like this guy named GBG you can get crazy in that game, in Asura at best all you can do is have no hit runs on the highest difficulty
FINALLY! Someone talks about this game and Asura's angry ass! I swear Symphony No.9 in E Minor is a masterclass of video game music and sits at the top with Warthog Run as my favorite video game music of all time. Such a good fucking game.

Nah. Look up Indrajit from the Ramayana. He's the son of Ravana the king of Rakshasa's. His name, Indrajit, isn't his actual name. His birth name is Meghanada, which means Thunderous because his cries literally sounded like Thunder as a baby. Indrajit is a title he earned that means conqueror of Indra, because the dude straight up smoked Indra, the king of the heavens and leader of the Deva, as well as ALL THE OTHER DEVA BY HIMSELF to rescue his dad when they captured him. Then, because he's an absolute menace made of nothing but black air force energy, tied Indra to his chariot and dragged his ass all the way back to his home in Lanka. Only reason Indra survived is because Brahma asked Indrajit to let him go and he said sure, but you gotta give me something in return. Brahma was so impressed with his valor and honor that he gave him conditional invincibility where if he did a prayer and rode his chariot, he could not be defeated. Also, this nigga done single handedly committed genocide. No, I'm not exaggerating. He killed 670 million sentient monkey people called vanara by HIMSELF in one battle over the course of a single day. Sun Wukong is a beast, but Indrajit was such a menace he did all this without even being the main character. He was like, a tertiary character at best. The Ramayana is about Rama and his conflict with Ravana.

Asura's wrath is by far one of the most underrated games out there despite the fact that is super awesome , i mean it is about an angry guy that kills everybody what is there not to love.
I played both God of War and Asura's Wrath and i love both games they are awesome .
Also can someone explain to me why everyone keeps calling Asura the OG Kratos because i remember that GOW 1 was released in 2005 and AW was released in 2012 so maybe i'm missing something or i'm an idiot but i would like for somebody to explain it to me .

I still go back watching asura's fights they never get old especially with the background music playing with each fight. Also I don't know if anyone did answer about Viltra Core but I believe it's due to Asura's Berserker form being the highest concentration of bad mantra so it would make sense it looks like him.

I'm quite sure asura would be fine at a roundtable as he really only hurts those who have caused him harm in some way or another, as long as there weren't any malevolent demi gods or gods sitting at said roundtable.
and again asura is not black air force energy that implies hes a bad person someone you wouldnt trust someone who kills for the thrill. asura is none of those things.
asura is much more of a sort of anti hero if anything. since the way he serves justice to these demi gods is murdering them in a brutal fashion. but he doesnt harm civilians on purpose. he doesn't steal, betray, or do anything that would make someone have black air force energy.

Finally, someone does my boy Asura some justice! Honestly, it's one of my favorite games of all time, and I am shocked that Capcom doesn't even have him in crossover games. The sheer scope of this game is something rarely see. I mean....the first major boss in the game is *the size of the fucking moon*. And you beat him by punching his country sized finger until he explodes.*

I still hate Yasha in this game... you allowed these people (I hope y'all know this by now) kill your sister: Asura's wife and abused your niece for years. You could have stopped this s**t from the beginning, but decided not too.
Thats the one thing I also just don't like Yasha for.
Nah fr but then I remembered his mantra place was melancholy. So for him to go through a change, he wore a mask cause he was saddened but hide it with a mask. Asura’s wrath broke that mask turning his sadness into a skill. Yasha was at his most strongest when he accepted what he did was wrong by entrusted Asura with his reactor core. Bro had no heart while fighting Asura yet gave us most the heart-felt battle in the game.
