It's good, although they have mixed mad max fury road and Avengers scenes in the movie still it's appealing, they've shown about the Mahabharata, Kali Yuga, Shambhala, a place where Kalki bhagavan would be born. The kali purusha and Kalki will fight in the next part ❤

Well stated concerns about concoctions but in the end popularizing traditional themes to develop convection is a great way to see it. Hopefully as you said about the Chosen, it will lead to a slow turn to factual representation of our characters and themes.

First of all Bhagwan Kalki will take avatara from a Brahmin family. A Brahmin family that is vedajna, meaning the family which follows the Dharma as it is mentioned in shastras and the father and mother are well versed in the actual meaning of vedas.
Coming to the time: Only 5000 years have passed after the events of dwaparayuga, it is said that Kali Yuga spans 432000 years. So the actual events will take place at the end of Kali Yuga which will be around 426000 AD.
One more thing, Bhagwan Kalki is shown with a fiery sword in his hand which will destroy all the evil. So it should be noted that the movie is just a symbolic representation of what might happen.

Hare krishna prabhu and dandwat pranaam prabhu. I always get agitated when movie inspired from our epics distort the original scriptural stories.
The movie has scences which kind of exaggerate the achievements of karna and shows him greater than arjuna . The most ironical thing is that in original mahabharata, karna and ashwath thaama were never great of friends and even had lots of tensions between them.. but in movie ashwath thaama is shown quite fond of karna
It was only after death of drona , ashwath thaama lost his cool . Else he was quite balanced and unbiased and didnt hesitate reminding karna and duryodhana of their misdeeds.
Similarly the movie kinds of display arjuna in an arrogant and bad light which is not found in our scriptures. I wish the movie makers at least read properly before presenting things.
Now again we will have a generation of teens taking this movie as reference and considering arjuna as a proudy person and karna being more talented and victim of hypothetical caste narratives
The only breath taking moments in the movie were when our hero Krishna appeared on screen . Though His face was never shown still His appearance was quite good and it kind of brought goosebumps

I had also misconception about karna that he was noble and good person as I read one novel on karna when I was in my teenage. But as prabhuji said first let it come into the consiouness of people.that novel and B.R chopra mahabharat serial made me curious to read more and more about about krishna and mahabharat. Later I came to know about righteousness of pandav and bad side of karna.
You couldn't be more right especially people deriding Arjuna Lord's devotee and glorifying Karna who Shastra knows all he was..

Was waiting for your balanced analysis, Prabhu Ji. Just that popular culture (movie and OTT directors/scriptwriters) need to very cautious about the Kaam-Krodh-Lobh treatment, while making Hindu scripture inspired movies/series. They generally screw-up big time with their Kaam-Krodh-Lobh treatment. They offer dolllops of these 3, as witnessed in recent movies influenced by the scriptures. For instance, obviously there's implicit Kaam in Ramayana, otherwise how did Labh and Kush appear. Now, these new age directors may just include a raunchy love-making scene, and defend their scene by claiming "its truth, it did happen". Same with Krodh, treatment must be aligned with the Sattvik principles of the scriptures. Showing gory bloodshed with Raavan taking filth, is incorrect. But again, making a movie too Saatvik will make it a Satyajit Ray film, not a commercial potboiler with Bacchchan, Pravaas and Padukoney. As global culture is going more towards Tamsik (service to self) , popular culture will take liberty to add more Tamsik twist to scripture influenced stories, and the custodians of scriptures such as Hindu preists, social influencers and Pandits, will be ok with it. Would such costumes of Miss Patani, such blaring music and such bloodshed get a warm reception by a Pandit or the Indian audience, if this movie released in 1944? (Hypothetically speaking). Would the Pandit hint in his review that the movie of pop culture actually will inspire the masses to increase their curiosity towards Hinduism? Curiosity may increase for masses towards the scriptures, but would it guarantee a Sattvik change in their lifestyle? Even the movie Oppenheimer made Americans curious about the Bhagwat Gita, did it make a single curious mind slightly more Sattvik? These are the burning questions.
Valid concerns; my approach is to look for gold in various places, including dirty ones, as Prabhupada would quote Chanakya's recommendation. That is just highlighting the gold, not recommending the place where it is found.

The theme was Modern Science Vs Vedic Scriptures.
There is a lot which can be learnt from “Good Movies”. Of course movies are Maya but one’s consciousness must be tuned to ensure to see the diamond 💎 in the dirt. The world was always saved by Marvels in New York without any logic or irrelevant precedence. Of course the degree of accuracy of philosophy in Kalki movie is kind of impressive.
I met Prabhu in Sydney and had personal association. Balanced Reviews from a practical standpoint and creating a perspective to see good in everything, helps in evolving our consciousness rather than being a fanatic and being disconnected from the world stating it is “Maya”.
Certain other good movies like Bicentennial Man and Good Will Hunting will also help in spiritual growth, if one’s consciousness is tuned to have the right vision.
Consciousness is like a TV channel. We can tune it to any frequency and it gives a perspective of the world we are In.

Need not discuss about the " Kalki" movie. It is 100% fiction with some characters named after Mahabharat characters. The movie has nothing to tell about Kalki avatar.
They showed Karna as the Greatest warrior among all Pandava, & Kaouraba.. Anyone agree with this ?

And arjun is great warrior but without Krishna's guidance he wouldn't stand a chance against karna
Karna had lot of curses due to which he couldn't use his full potentiality at crucial times during wars . N also to save arjuna .. his father indra appeared as Brahman n asked karna to donate his armour. Despite knowing the motive of indra he still chose to sacrifice his precious possession.
He also promised kunti his mom that he won't kill anyone .. it was either him or arjun [ total 6 sons n he promised her that only 5 will be alive
Karna did only 1 mistake in his entire life ... standing for adharma.
arjun is good warrior but not great ek lavya n karna are far better than him .. only reason arjun got following coz of Krishna n others support for him

Even arjuna feared at one instance to even go infront krana for dual on 17th day I think .whne he uses bharagavasthra . Arjuna asks krishna take his chariot away from karna and waited untill he got tired and selya words starts working only . Even krishna was awestruck sometimes . Yeah he is not equal to Arjuna and Bheema but definitely powerful than yudhisthira,nakula and sahadeva altogether .

Arjun is not 100 percent perfect he had his flaws for example his pride sarvshresht dhanurdhrar gandeevadari indra son etc etc.

Every coin has 2 sides so pandavas are not 100 percent perfect neither kauravas.. they are good at their own perspectives

I have met prabhuji several times and talked personally and he is very very humble and appreciated not for his English but for his ability to explain scriptures in very easy language and graphically also nowadays.

6000-2898 is 3102 bce krishnas death n end of dwapar yug exactly after 6k years kalki will be reincarnated to end evil
@@dr.ash1475 you got wrong again mate, the same scriptures that say kalki avataram will emerge said kaliyuga has 432k years of whatever time length, why you want to believe one and reject the other.
you can read more about the 4 pAda of kaliyuga, we have achieved the first pAda only, since there are yajnas happening around openly, its not even close for kalki to come
