There is a live stream "skarsvag live" on youtube (if anyone is interested) that I have on daily. I don't know much about the place but I like watching the activity and weather.
activity????? What activity? Walking around in circles? You have to be crazy to live there. Yes it's beautiful but it's like a cold prison. I could visit for a few days and then I'd go nuts.
I discovered that stream, closer to around the time you commented this, by typing in "live," and it happened to show on the list of streams. I've been watching ever since.
My wife and I watch "Skarsvag live" daily. One of the most interesting villages we have ever watched. Such lovely houses and decks. Yet, never see anyone taking advantage of weather or decks on their homes. Very rare to see any human activity and where are the children? What is the big cement building for? Never see any activity at that building. A very lovely place but interestingly for so many house and boats not much human activity.
@@jasongates- Late reply, but just saw this video :) I used to live there, the cement building is the former school :) I moved from there in 1999/2000 and the school was still used at that time, not 100% sure when they shut it down :)
Thank you for this fantastic video. I was there during summer, and it was beautiful too, but for sure it must be a very good experience to go there during winter. Unfortunately, my camper van is only for positive temperature trips...
Is there any chance of the first music that was played. The title/ name of song. Artist??? I'm totally blown away by the harmony of the violin music! Hypnotic, and mesmerizing. So complete.........

I was there before 15 years to Loading fresh fish for france with my truck. Nice place

Yeah, I've always wondered about that "big cement building," too. And true, nice scenery of the city on that stream.

I could visit for a week or two then I’d go crazy. There’s nothing to do but hike and fish and that gets old after a while.l need more stimulation.
