Man, I used to love playing this game! Me and my brother would usually play co-op, and we spent lots of time beating up the town...as well as each other. There’s Project Zoo which is a collect-a-thon / 3D platformer and there’s Curse Of The Were Rabbit which is this one, where you fight Big Chungus and his legitimately scary minions, The Were Badgers, Were Weasels, Were Chickens (ACTUAL JUMPSCARE ENEMIES), Were Bees, Were Rats, Were Slugs and Were Hedgehogs.
Man, Smash 2018 is looking amazing so far. Who'd have thought they'd be adding these two iconic, long-beloved characters in the Nintendo series? Certainly not me.
RickToons, there are also two Wallace & Gromit flash games that are pretty fun: 'Wallace And Gromit's pocket sprocket' and 'Wallace and Gromit, Wallace's workshop'. Sure they're both puzzle games, but I loved them as a kid, and still find them pretty good.
I recommend this and Wallace & Gromit In Project Zoo. Great music (especially the mine level), fun play forming and lots of puzzles, combat and collecting are involved. Gromit gets a porridge machine gun in the mines and a turnip rocket launcher in the warehouse, you have to play the game.
All this mindless beating video did was make me realise just how midlands the town is in Curse of the Were Rabbit, with massive canals, factories and what seems to be a railway bridge which spans across the town. It’s a nice aesthetic.
I was just thinking about the "in a salmon suit" scene this morning. I LOVED this game as a kid, best co-op game for me and my brother (I played as Gromit. ALWAYS.) To this day I still quote Wallace's lines from that game. REALLY good memories all around, thank you
