Fundamentals are a thing I am struggling with: anatomy, perspective, shading, composition and color.
I’m struggling with prospective and color I did anatomy for like 5 months and still looks a bit weird 😅

Ok. The artstyle. I can help. First you draw a bunch of things. Have references, look up art and that. Then from all of your drawings, combine some features you love on them the most. And wuala (idk how to spell it)

I just started and the "can't draw blues" always gets me down because I look at what others are doin and compare my stuff to theirs.

Hey Brad! Many people must be thinking.... why so much effort doing all this animation, take the time to do such a huge work, and content and Jokes, why not just to film yourself explaining.... but for those who doesn't understand what you're doing, all what you do, in my case for example, took me to draw with my kids, show this videos to them and have sooooo much fun, they call you teacher Brad and ask me every week If there's a new video, we laugh a lot with your jokes and we all learn!!! And actually everytime I grab my sketch book I remember your voice and the character's voices and laugh alone and remember all what you said... thank you for all this...

Yes, especially the advice on teeth! A lot of "how to draw" books miss this, so good catch. Also, it's part of the larger point that drawing-- and all art-- is about being inspired by what you see, not slavishly copying. Excellent videos!

I just want to say. I have been drawing before as a child, until teens but when I became an adult I slowly drifted away from drawing. I wanna go back and this inspired me! I have been dreaming of being a cartoonist before. Good job. Your videos are inspiring and entertaining!!

Your subscriber numbers should skyrocket before long given your creativity, humor and superb instructional content. You just blow all the other art instruction channels away, especially for beginners like myself.
Brad, I started watching your tech videos first and I liked them. But this channel is so so entertaining. Your style of narrative (the dubbing and script rivals that of a prime time channel cartoon) is so beyond engaging. I haven't subscribed sooner to another channel. The mentality of "starting too late" is weird because it implies that people aren't supposed to learn new things at later stages in life. As if everyone was supposed to learn everything they were going to learn in life early on.

Thank you a bunch for this teach! As someone who is self taught and thanks to a certain pandemic has gone back into an old passion to pursue it further I've gotta lot to catch up on and learn again. I really appreciate these videos! Truly thank you! Thank you! I'm more of a cartoon artist and the one thing I'm struggling/ trying to grasp are perspective, expressive poses, and those cartoon mickey mouse style gloved hands. If at any point you could cover some of these things I would be so grateful!

I'm a mother with 2 kids since this pandemic i quit my job to take care of my family, since we can't go anywhere due to lock down i learn to draw which is my passion since i was kid but it is bad i cant draw but i like to draw and i found this channel is really helpful to learn how to draw i also follow ur other channel cus i love to watch about gadget and stuffs.
