Just bought my first Berlingo this week!.. love the space!..mines done 134,000 miles but 1lady owner so looks like new. Lots of people said don't buy one because of electrics but watching your videos restores my faith! Thkyu

Honestly Lisa. I've never had any major issues at all with my Berlingos. The red one I've owned nearly 5 years and done 100,000 miles in. Yes it's had a new axle etc but that will do the car another 15 years. People who tend to have bad opinions on them have never actually owned one. Enjoy the berlingo 🙌

@@projectfearn Thankyou, all cars have their issues! I'm a Citroen fan (own a 1979 Acadiane) l see this one as a classic so it will be well loved and used everyday. 👍 They deserve to be kept on the road!

@@projectfearn Any experience with high fuel consumption on a 75hp 1.4i Berlingo, above 11L per 100km? I consider clogged and not optimal functional injectors a reason!? Try some liquid chemical cleaning right now...I wait for results of the fuel-milage, am aware of the fuel-air-bubble issue under not horizontal fuel-filling conditions, which makes measuring a little difficult.

Danny you're not even halfway done with this french garbage. Since you had the antenna leak I GUARANTEE you that there is at least 4 liters of water in one of the footwells, thoroughly soked into the 10-12cm thick foam casting under the carpet. Once the water gets under the carpet it wil stay there for ever, or until the whole carpet is taken out and dried (takes about 1-2 weeks on the bathroom floor). And there will be plenty of rust on the floor panels, floor panels may even have rusted through. This garbage car leaks water EVERYWHERE:
    A) Radio antenna (gasket),
    B) Spoiler/deflector above windscreen,
    C) Steering column thru-floor grommet/gasket,
    D) Tail lights,
    E) Ablong seal covers above tail lights, this little detail at the far rear causes water to trickle along the whole car, and it ends up in the footwells,
    F) Blinded holes (round tape sticker) on A-pilars (if the tape is pierced, otherwise ok)
    G) Inside all door gaskets, especially front doors A-pilar. Water leaks in the gaps between the spotweled panels, and ends up on the floor (yeah under the carpet!),
    H) All rear side windows are leaking, in two places: between glass and gasket, and the 3 attachment points on the glass (there is a rubber gasket, but not even this could they get right),
    I) At various places underbody, poor sealing technique, sloppy work, and rust bypassing the caulks and letting water in,
    J) In some cases water gets into the cabin air intake, ends up under the carpet of course,
    K) And then there is that idiotic accordian/panorama sunroof:
-If that flapping sealing lip that contacts the main gasket is cracked past the gasket sealing lip there is a leak, especially if there is wind and rain towards this area,
-Leak between main gasket and roof panel, the cause is unbelievable poor assembly,
-Leak between fixed rear end and gasket,
-Leak between the front 'flap' and gasket, highly dependant on temperature as the whole plastic roof contract/expands greatly with temperature. Wind noise is a tell-tale sign.
I have plenty of pictures to back this up.
I've now sealed everything (or just about done with it).
Before the carpets go in I will give it a 10min HP wash (from a good distance), onto all sides, front, rear, and top and bottom. Hopefully not a single drop will get in anywhere.
