Your leopard palette definitely works with light medium skin tones :) . So many beautiful looks all over tiktok on light-med skin. Personally it’s my favorite! I don’t think it’s too deep at all , it’s all in the hand :)

I have tan/ medium-deep skin and I have been deep diving into reviews for the leopard and snake palette (2 & 3) application reviews. Thanks for being one of the few people with lighter skin applying palette 3 (snake in your leopard packaging) with a light hand... some of these other videos I'm seeing are clownish and were making me doubt if even I could pull off the palette.

I'm a light to medium, well, more light, and after they try to do better for our friends with deeper complexion, well they could have made a palette 4, would have been amazing, but they make progress, after that, i enjoy thee more and more, and mostly at home, also great for (short)holidays of course! I have the snake and it works on my fair/light cool skin. I use just a single tap with the Sonia G Soft Cheek brush dor the blushes and they're beautiful. A similarly soft application with the bronzer works as well. The blushes and highlighter work beautifully for me as eyeshadow. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the palette worked for me. I also got Jellyfish and its perfection for me.

I got the leopard palette in the elegant owl packaging. Since I don’t have a lot of Hourglass and have light medium skin tone thought that would work best. The middle pink blush in that one is gorgeous! The bronzer is a little warm but will be okay. And surprisingly I like the finishing powders more than I thought I might…overall happy with the purchase. Only complaint is that mirror not staying up🤨 and the pan sizes are a little small for some of my favorite blush brushes and I do not want to get a blush/strobe highlight combo going on my cheeks!😮😂
The mirror I completely agree, we need to rethink that. The sizes I don’t mind except the bronzer.. if the bronzer could’ve been a little bit bigger that would’ve been amazing. However, because it’s in the corner, I manage.😂

Thanks for this detailed review! The deeper palette looks so good! Both are pretty but the deeper one is much more interesting. I am light to light-med with neutral olive undertones. I am not a powder girl at all as I am 50 with dry skin. I’m mostly a cream/liquid gal. But I love hourglass and have a bunch of palettes that I don’t use much unless I’m traveling and I need more longevity. I love the deeper palette for summer and I may have to get it for a tropical vacation as all those colors are perfect for summer all in one palette. I love the reddish tone of the bronzer as I don’t like grey leaning bronzers at all as I don’t need to contour. Damn now I’m stuck needing to get this haha.

I purchased the Hourglass Skin-tint Veil in #8 after seeing your review of the product a few weeks ago. It has been the best product I have purchased this summer. I was looking for something lighter/shearer than my Sublimage B32 foundation for the summer . I brought my Sublimage with me to Sephora and the shade 8 was almost the exact same shade. I used the skin tint for over week before I started adding some of the Sublimage to give me better coverage but still lighter. It lasted all day and made my skin look beautiful. I was impressed with myself when you said you had done the same. Your skin looks incredible just like my did with the mixture. Your complexion looked stunning with all of the products you used in this video.

I was a little scared it’ll be too dark but seeing how it looks on your complexion and I’m medium/medium dark - makes me feel even more excited for mine to arrive.

I love them both, however I think the snake palette compliments your visage much much better and it looks literally as if it melts on your skin, flawless. I love the snake palette although I know I could never pull it off as my skin tone is very light. So I did ordered the jellyfish one which should arrive today, hopefully. But I loved how you showcased both of them. You look stunning!

Received mine today- I decided to stick with the original artwork and got the jellyfish (I did really want that owl though!). I love Hourglass and have been purchasing their products for years. I did not get last year’s palette and have been on a low buy, so I felt justified in treating myself 💛

You just make everything look amazing!! I tried the hourglass skin tint and foundation their complexion products just do not look good on my skin; however on your skin it just looks amazing! I'm interested though trying the Ciele skin tint and blush from your last video they looked ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS on you!!!🥰💞 Which one do you prefer the Glossier foundation or Ciele skin tint?
Hm.. they are quite different, the Glossier has medium coverage and such a different texture.. hard to compare them😬

I am trying to choose between the jellyfish and leopard palette. I am asian and have light with neutral undertones. I don't own any hourglass palettes yet. I am just worried about the bronzer - if it will be too dark or if buildable?
I don’t have the leopard palette, but I know five out of the six shades are repeats, so I bet you could go swatch the shades somewhere and see if they would work for you.

No. They have a sheen but not glitter❤️

I am medium skin tone and I did not own any hourglass. Still struggle to get leopard or snack palette. Which one you prefer if I am kinda medium warm golden undertone. Will the snack palette highlighter too dark for me? Is it too golden?

How is that snake brush? I wanted to order it I got the snake pallet the first day and the brush wasn't available and I have been meaning to pick it up. Probably will have to wait forever for the shipping just like the pallet..lol

I also have extra owl palette in color story one if anyone wants to buy it as well. I had planned on sending back as I have both and id sell only what I paid for them
I somehow missed that you could choose the cover/shade combination so when Hourglass had 20% off I just clicked through the leopard so quickly to get the order in that I don’t even know what I’m getting on the inside. Probably the default leopard combo. 😕

I really think they messed up my snake pallet my bronzer is not that color and it's really light compared to yours and others I have seen . I like it but I'm not into a gold highlight and I'm not into the copper blush at all the rest is fine but my bronzer is very light . I do like the finishing powder in it . I wish they would just let us pick each shade and packaging in a perfect world ya know . I would even pay more if I could pick my shades .
Interesting, the bronzer in the Snake one is more red and it does look deeper than the Jellyfish one. Maybe contact hourglass about it? I do think that would be absolutely incredible id they let us pick the colors😍
