- Hello and welcome to red roots!
Since I dyed my hair black just last week, I thought it was time to spice up my hair life again, this time opting for a
red+black combo!
To clarify: You need to have light roots before you start. If your roots are black, either naturally or dyed, you’ll
need to bleach it beforehand, otherwise the colour won’t show up.
Dyes and formulas used:
Schwarzkopf Igora 9-98 40g
Schwarzkopf Igora 6-88 20g
Schwarzkopf Igora Booster 0-88 4g
Schwarzkopf Igora Booster 0-89 6g
Schwarzkopf Premium developer 30vol 70ml
Applied only on the roots and left on for 45 minutes.

Red will also eat through almost any color. I have naturally dark brown hair and red will always pull through, it cam even pull through in black from time to time. Of course in that case you only see the red in the sun

I really don't like when people color their roots lighter than the ends, so how did you manage to make this look good? I'll never know.
In my case , it was by accident!! Haha
like with billie eilish she has naturally blonde hair so she doesn’t have to bleach the roots but it would be hell to get out the black ends she already has so ig she’s just growing out the black so it doesn’t damage as much of her hair if she decides to change it up later.

@Joe Castiglione there are still many naturally blonde people older than 19 (billies age) all blonde hair doesn’t magically become brown after you get older. my boyfriend is 20 and he has dirty blonde hair. her hair will probably stay at at least a dirty blonde color.

She has oval face shape - so every style suits her. As for the color, I mean, some colors definitely look better than others... but i think that her confidence is the key. She can rock it and that's why it suits her.
I don't know why people say Billie started the colored roots trend, me and my friends did that shit 10 years ago. Natural blondes who went through an emo phase did this all the time to avoid layering too much black hair dye.
She started it BC it's trendy nowdays. E-girls and e-biys aye just emo kids like I was 13 years ago but with more jewelry and more sense if style. So. Billie brought back the trend and she made it popular again. That's the thing. She made it popular all over the world so that's makes her the inventor. You know? 😂

Thing with my hair is it’s naturally sensitive, dry, frizzy just not nice looking and it honestly ruins my confidence at times not that I had any to begin with. I’m going to buy some products for it so it will be more shiny and healthy and soft etc
