    Well Done! I am wondering if it get dusty or powdered off when you touch the finished wall?

    Gorgeous effect! I love the old world effect.
    What makes this paint different' than just using ordinary paint?
    Does it have a granular texture? Or any texture?
    Do you 'cut in' the corners and edges?
    Are you going to treat the ceiling also or just leave it stark white?

    Do you think Limewash walls could play well with modern neoclassical interior and trim molding?

    Looks great! How many gallons did you need to complete this room?

    • @HouseGanda
      @HouseGanda  Před 2 lety

      thank you Stephanie! The limewash calls for 1 gallon for a 400sqft room. This allowed for two coats!
      Hope this helps and good luck on your project!

    How many sq ft was your project? Did you only use 1 gallon?

    • @HouseGanda
      @HouseGanda  Před 10 měsíci

      It was probably 10 x 6 room but one wall was floor to ceiling windows. I did use 1 gallon and had a 1/3 left over

    Does limewash work on ply wood wall?

    • @HouseGanda
      @HouseGanda  Před 2 lety

      Hi Aaron, I would recommend you check with the lime wash brand you decide to go with. Typically you should use limewash for porous surfaces only including brick, concrete, stone, or other masonry, but not for wood or drywall (including plywood)
      Some companies however will offer Limewash or primer specially for indoor surfaces - suitable for drywall or plywood. Hope that helps!

      I have heard acrylic based primers may work for limewash on plywood, but always safe to check with the Limewash manufacturer!
