So I am making cups like this and of course found your tutorial after I have put on the first coat of epoxy. Can I add an iridescent glitter to the next coat of epoxy to get the look that Bliss did for your cup?

After your Diy resin review(which I will tryout ...anything to stop fighting the bubbles and heat level since I also make resin coaster).... anyway, had to come see this video because I loved this cup. This was such a complete video. I am new to this and have been so confused on how many layers and how much time between each layer. Do I sand or notđ This cleared it all up for me. Thank you!!!âđ. So beautiful!! I have found using a hair dryer works wonders for me when it comes to the waves. I think because it has different settings such as low & high & heat or no heat. I use no heat. You should check it out if you havenât already. It might be a game changer :)

thanks! usually you can use them after 72 hours. depends on the brand of epoxy you're using. thanks for watching!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thanks for responding! I'm actually using the DIYepoxy. Do you let the turner run for 72 hrs? Or keep the tumbler on the turner for a set amount of hrs and then let it dry on the drying rack for the remaining time? Sorry for the questions..I just want to make sure I am doing it correctly đ

It seems they no longer carry it by that name. Was it a fine or an ultra fine? Also, they are out of stock on 3 of them. Do they regularly restock? Thank you!
I think bliss is discontinued but brite or nookie are beautiful for this also
@@FlynnSistersBoutique thank you! I'll give one of them a try. In the case of the others, so many are "out of stock" with no info on the site as to when they will be restocked. I do wish they'd give an approximate date. I loved the three you used that were out of stock. I'll keep checking. I think I put them on my wish list and asked to be notified when they were restocked. đ
Love the cup! How long did you have to wait after applying the epoxy to sand and apply another layer? Also do you know what the heat resistance is on the epoxy?

Do you know what the heat tolerance is of this epoxy? I checked their website and am not finding it. I'm always concerned about leaving tumblers with epoxy in hot cars!

Not totally. I've been working with this new stuff for a bit to test it out and I'll be doing a full review on it here soon.

Is the DIY Epoxy UV resistant?
