My parents normally went on field trips with me and we would always go to the zoo or a museum places where they sold food and my parents would buy my food there.
I remember in a Roman mosaic museum trip, I forgot the egg sandwich my mother made me, so all I had in my bag to eat for lunch was a yogurt squeeze tube and some chocolates :') I was so hungry that I basically smashed my face into that egg sandwich and devoured it when I got home lmaoo
When I was in the younger grades I ate pretty standard lunches but as I got older I got less hungry and eventually just didn't eat lunch rather used the time for eating for something else.
I remember I went on a field trip to Callaway gardens I think and y mom had got me subway for lunch on the field trip, but I didn't like to eat in front of people especially since most everyone else had school lunch, so I have my food away and didn't eat anything I don't think. Ten another time years later I went on a field trip to the Georgia aquarium, but I left my money in my bookbag which got left on the bus because we had to leave our belongings I guess so they wouldn't get lost. But thankfully my teacher, I don't remember her name, but she was nice. Anyways she asked why I wasn't eating, and I explained I had left my money on the bus, so she offered a piece f pizza to me which at first I said no to, but I was hungry so I ate it. Lay one of my classmates had a red velvet cupcake she couldn't eat and asked who wanted it. I still didn't feel right about taking other people's did, but I as kind of friends with her, and the cupcake was HUGE, so she gave it to me and it was delicious!
This video made me think back to qhen I was in 1st grade, I had a school field trip to a pumpkin patch. My school lunch that I brought was just a giant pickle and nothing more.
Every year for a field trip my mom would always give me a soda and I was always so excited since I never got to have sodas for lunch at school normally lmfao

Oh there was one field trip for some reason the girls I was sitting with brought more food than they wanted to eat, I was the only one who was provided lunch from the school so I was still hungry, they gave me all the stuff the didn't want and I was so happy ^v^
