- We intended to do a mellow ride as it was the first ride of the year. I'd ridden this trail a few times but always on an enduro. It a fun flowy trail but there are some sections that are challenging on an ADV bike.

Appreciate these humbling reminders that I’ll always be the limiting factor in where my T7 goes & not the bike
We're the limiting factor too. The bikes are capable of a lot more than we do with them!
Fuck... i cannae wait to get a T7
Same, bro.. Same.
To be fair, these do take a lot more effort to ride than an enduro due to the massive amount of extra weight
Those are some gnarly trails! Lucky you are 20 year old athletes.
I’m 46yrs old ;)
@@CamelADV don’t ruin my ego defence by telling the truth. It hurts
@@NomadSweden LOL! One of our regular crew is 62 and rides this stuff on his R1200GS.
@@CamelADV well, we are planning for a US trip now, so I hope to ride some nice stuff 2023. I may contact you for advice over email. :)
@CamelADV how would a Honda Africa Twin do on those trails you think? I have years of experience racing motocross on a Honda CR250R and trails/hills. My local shop just got the new Tenere in but I'm scared it won't be enough on those long state to state trips on the highway 🤙 awesome content, loving it.
I always think I'm beating my T7 up, then I watch you guys and realize I am NOT. Those things sound mean!
Cory that was awesome to watch. Both of you have some amazing big bike woods skills! It was a great reminder that even though I'm a smaller, and much older rider, I need to continue working on my off-road skills, and challenging myself to improve.
Day-um. As we say about some of the trails. "More challenging that it was fun."
The challenge is the fun for us!
That was gnarly!
“This is a good loop!”
and then with absolutely no indication he heard your words, “I slammed my nut on a log crossing…”
Lol.
I’ve said it before but you guys have mad skills. I was questioning if these were motorcycle or MTB trails. Great job guys.
Nutcracker Trail
The thing sounds like a wicked beast moving through that the single track.
Thx Cory. Making great parts for our bikes and great videos too!
Thanks for sharing the ADV reality of struggle/fun.
I had a cbr600 than a XR650 than got a Harley. Im board and need the offroad adventures again. Living in the country a harley was not a smart decision lol. The tenere is definitely top of my list. The exhaust note resonates in me ears! Best sounding bike by far.
Tenere 700s, the tractors of the bush! Just keep chugging along.
I really enjoy seeing those larger bikes on sketchy single track; your video is just like *That Guy on an Africa Twin*
That looked like a lot of work! Awesome job, guys!
“In theory you can do it in one go.” I love that guy. Haha
Nice race, and beautiful track 😉
You guys are Canuckin' nuts riding those big T-Reks on those trails. Looks like some excellent trail though. Thumbs up!
Ohhh, been waiting for this Cory 🎉 😊
Exactly the kind of trails I love to ride on, sadly not available here other than enduro tracks.
That's too bad, I'd have to move!
I'm surprised Jaden feels any pain with those brass balls.🤣
LOL!
8:10 The stand-still hill-climb over that terain is impressive. I want a T7.
Those were some rough trails! Wish we would have anything like that around here, but sadly we have to stick to countrylanes and some rare forest single trail..
Amazing!
That would be challenging on my KTM 500excf. Hats off to you guys.
awesome trail, just for big adv ;)
The words “take it easy today” are always followed by some new trail that should be easy but ends up very technical and whoops your out of shape a#%. Some rule of nature I believe
Must be harder than it looks, cuz you're respirating like you're pedaling a mountain bike.
Cool vid!
What tyres are you chaps running here? Great video , really enjoyed it
Shinko 216 MX
brutal
What rear tire do you like for this terrain? Dunlop D908?
Hola que manetas llevas montadas en la tenere 700?
Hey Cory, cool vid, looks like awesome area....second the question what tires you running, mainly front? Also, how you like that OGIO vest?
Shinko 216MX. I love the OGIO vest. I've had it for 8yrs(?). It's served me well.
@@CamelADV OGIO vest, how's the fitment on it in your opinion? I'm barrel chested typical 2x and dislike super tight stuff.
By the way. Get yourself a dango mount. It clips on and off your helmet very easily and gives a nice view without helmet obstruction.
what's your average speed over a ride like this?
You guys seem to know this area so well, do you have any recommendations for Adv bike trails at Mclean or Ghost? Maybe slightly easier Adv bike trails...?
Any of the truck trails and most of the quad trails are pretty mellow on an ADV bike. I don't have any specific suggestions though.
@@CamelADV sounds like the answer is for me to ride a lot more and explore. Love the videos guys!
What hand guards / bar clamp is that ?
Which bike?
Where were you riding?
Alberta, Canada
Maclean Creek?
Indeed it is.
a 2 acre trail for sure lol
Stock suspension????
Jaden is stock/resprung. Mine is TFX shock, KYB SSS forks from a YZ450.
That does not look like the ideal trail for a T7.
