I was lucky enough to see them in concert twice. The first one was with all five of them, the day before my 15th birthday. The second one was just the four of them, when I was 16. The thing that I remember the most is the atmosphere. You could just feel the excitement and the love; the love for the boys, the love for the music, and the love for each other. It was like a sense of unity. I honestly don't remember that much from the concerts themselves, but I remember them sounding amazing and Liam interacting with the crowd and Harry telling jokes (though I don't remember what was specifically said). I just remember the feeling of being there more than anything. Also, my dad was sitting in the parking lot during the second concert and he said that they sounded really good and I thought that was funny.

9:09 I mean yeah a lot were young but no one ever caught those live hahaha it’s just us at home analyzing everything so we notice when they change a certain word but to the crowd at their shows the “naughty” words sound too much like the original lyric so they don’t think much of it. The boys think they can get away with those things but we’re basically the FBI, we slow down audio and do our thing to catch what they’re saying.
I feel like people catch the lyric changes in this video for example just because there are subtitles, otherwise it’s not really clear what they’re really saying.
By the time most of this, idek how to describe it haha, was happening the majority of their fanbase were in their late teens or young adults so no one would’ve really been surprised. No one was that innocent in this fandom LOL.

Chaotic mess. *lol* I never went to a concert, didn't feel it was for me although I really wanted to go in 2015 but it wasn't working for me at the time they visited my country. I think they were messing around so much partly because that's how they got their first fan base through X Factor. They were basically just silly boys on there, behind the scenes I mean, but that was what made their fans relate to them and so they kept that up in concerts. It's how I see it. And they wanted to just have fun with it and I think fans expected it to be like that all the time.
It's hard to catch lyric changes live. And some on here wasn't even correct subtitles (aka I heard something else on the Louis/Niall part) so yeah not easy to hear, especially not live in the audience. Their youngest fans didn't really understand a lot of their songs either. A lot is about sex tbh but it went above their heads probably because they never actually used the word sex. Besides, young teens or pre-teens today would know a whole more than I did at that age. They were simply not that innocent.
nah their fanbase was probably between 14 and 25 mainly so nothing they havent heard before lol
